its a very fun  place for work. Everyday you will meet different people. you will make many friends. I learned a lot of things like how to apply for Canadian Passport and how to apply for work permit. As from my experience there were nothing difficult because the staff there were really friendly. But one thing is that sometime you have to work a little more because of busy schedule. And the most enjoyable part is like every other week different fun activities are arranged like lunch, dinner and picnics.

A typical day at work:
I spent my days answering calls and booking appointments for new clients as a receptionist.

Management:
Management was supportive, providing clear instructions and helpful feedback regularly.

Workplace culture:
The culture was friendly and collaborative, with a focus on excellent customer service.

The most enjoyable part of the job:
Interacting with a variety of people and helping new clients book their appointments was very rewarding.

-A great place to help and welcome the newcomers and immigration. and help them with their basic needs, especially Language problems.  -Friendly environment to work in team or individually.
-Good management and best co-workers support i ever received 
-Nice place to put our theoritical knowledge in a PRACTICE.

AWO was like a warm loving family environment.  Many opportunities to gain  valuable  insights.  Most enjoyable part of work was the gratifying fulfillment I received from serving and supporting my clients. 

This agency is of great value to the Afghan community that is in need of such services.  I worked here as a settlement worker and translator and everyone was happy with their services.  They made sure to go the extra mile for each client.

My practicum work experience was great!! Always took every opportunity to learn about the settlement process and procedures helping clients with their immediate needs.  Staff are  polite and co-operative.

I volunteered with the AWO, it is a nice place to work at, especially for newcomers to learn Canadian work place culture and move ahead with their careers.

It was great helping newcomers and immigrants. Helped newcomers with their questions regarding their welfare papers etc.
