It's like most of these reviews here. The workers are trying their best with the resources available but all issues roll downhill. Management has some clear issues that is causing retention and dynamic issues. I give credit to those who are trying to bring things around and iron out the issues, but it all falls back to upper management and owners not having branches collaborate and take feedback. It's employees that make the company money... treat them well, ask for feedback and learn how to have departments in a branch communicate and you can boost morale.  Jobs are abundant and people will leave if they sense tension 
 This was a case of better grass on the other side.  

If you are looking for a position steer clear until they get serious 3rd party help or a upheaval or training in upper management there will still be a revolving door of staff unless you want to step in and shake some sense into those causing conflict 

Going to work for Agriterra was probably the biggest mistake of my life. Big promises are made with nothing to back them up once you’re actually there. Management is completely clueless as to what is actually going on in the ag industry, and most of the longer-term employees seem to think they could run things better and completely disregard what management does attempt to do. They don’t have near enough work within a reasonable distance of their shop, so they attempt to cover way too big of an area. This results in ridiculous driving time for employees, and very poor service being delivered to customers. They also give people completely unreasonable targets, and then are upset when these targets are not met despite them being ridiculous given the lack of business they actually manage to do. Very disorganized and just an overall bad company to work for. Avoid at all costs. 

This place is really great the people are very friendly Great job environment Management always has your back when you need it most will answer all your questions when you ask them the hardest part of the job is in harvest and your running around with your head cut off it will be a little stressful, when you don't have customers to server can get a little boring some times just make the best of the situation and you will be fine.

One of the worst places I've worked. Through multiple branch managers. The upper management does not respect staff. There is little appreciation for going above and beyond. With the exception of fellow techs, don't expect any help or guidance when you need it. They had a few good workers in the Grande Prairie branch but upper management drove them out the door. The only benefit is they pay techs decent compared to other ag dealers in the area.

A typical day at work was talking to farmers/customers, diagnosing issues and sourcing the correct parts quickly and fairly priced 
I learned to train new employees and interact with customers, defuse situations and provide above and beyond service. The workplace was clean and respectful. 

There is help when needed, can be trying at time due to the nature of the business. Over all, a good company to work for. In the times we are having management seems to be steering the way through. They treated Co-vid seriously, supplied masks and free testing when needed.There are  weekly meetings with upper management so one can bring up what may be bothering him or her. Issues are solved as quick as they can. 

I’m so happy I joined this amazing team of people who are not only great to work with, but also passionate about what they do.  I can honestly say I’ve never felt so valued and appreciated in a job, as I do here. The new management they’ve brought in are incredibly supportive, encouraging, and driven to create the best business environment for both their staff and customers.  I love love love it!

For the most part, wonderful people to work with. When its busy season- no way will you have time off for anything ... Thats reserved for the managers. You get pushed and rushed to finish projects and repairs so managers can get there monthly bonuses; after the push and stress you are left with nothing to do and no work. 
When slow your job is on the line.

Do not recommend working in the Grande Prairie location. Zero support from upper management. You're expected to get the job done with no tools. The more you take on the more is expected for you to take on. No room for advancement. No raises given. Poor management skills. If zero stars could be given....

For my position , I have access to all the training I need.  If there is anything I am not sure on I can contact others for assistance. 
Agriterra has good benefit plans.  
Corporate is very helpful as well. 
I like the people and interacting with the customers
Agriterra is great company to work for.
