Airdrie Echo

A typical day at work was, I would go out to my front porch and bring the boxes to my kitchen table. From there I would organize each flyer into stacks. Then I would read any instruction my employer would give to me regarding the order of the flyers. After all the flyers were placed into bags I would delver them to the house I was assigned.

For the airdrie echo paper company It’s a super easy job with a work schedule of one day a week and may take an hour or two to finish delivering.      

Was a good job, weather was a problem occasionally but that happens. The hardest part of the job was in the winter time having to treck through the snow. Since management change the workplace dynamic is not as nice or friendly as it was in the past and as it should be

The job had me package newspapers and then deliver them. 
I learned how to do repetitive tasks and didn’t have a manager. 
It was hard to package the papers.
The most enjoyable part of the job was delivering the papers.

The Airdrie Echo was a good place for me to get some experience in a hard working environment. I learned some new skills and got to meet some good people.

Papers were delivered around noon on Wednesday and had to get folded and delivered before 8:00 PM i believe on Wednesday so not much time but had time to roll and deliver them after school.

The Airdrie Echo is a great first job for younger teens. It teaches good skills for upcoming members of the work force; however, the pay is not enough to earn more than a bit of pocket money per week.

A solid job. You have to organize and package the mail. You have to be aware of the no soliciting/ no flyers on homes and if you have a good system of delivering, it can go by quick.

Fun, flexible and great pay. Great first job for younger children to earn money on their own and learn responsibility. Work once a week and only takes a few hours.

Good job that was able to keep me outside and active! Learned to work hard and to navagate from a young age. Fun to work with family while doing the job!
