Simply put, this company was on the verge of taking a great product and making it more available to its customers but when the second owner decided to get involved, it actually went from bad to worse.

Instead of just tweaking some serious weaknesses at the order entry level, that would then carry over to every other department, the company essentially went on a spree to push everyone out the door, some via direct firing and others via "raise and promotion freezes" - money that was promised to employees via profit share was revoked for all first-year employees.

Upper management encourages rumour-mongering and then uses it against employees it no longer wants to keep around as a form of leverage. Those who don't know any better, get involved in this morale-killing exercise, not realizing that it will eventually be used against them.

If I remember correctly, I was the 8th employee to leave (I quit) by choice or otherwise and it hardly stopped with me. Every level of the business has seen employees jumping ship, as it becomes clear that only those willing to poison the well against their co-workers are kept around.

The potential for this company to grow and become something amazing was essentially pushed out the door and instead replaced by a toxic environment; I would love to see responsible management or perhaps a new owner recover this company to where it was and take it to the next level it should have achieved.

There were a few positives, such as supportive coworkers and occasional opportunities to learn new skills. However, these strengths were often overshadowed by ongoing challenges. Communication from management was inconsistent, making it difficult to understand priorities or expectations. Workloads were frequently unbalanced, with sudden changes that created unnecessary stress. In addition, processes felt disorganized, and it was hard to get clear guidance when issues arise.

I've never seen a company care so little about their employees. Any suggestions and ideas presented by employees are completely ignored. Management doesn't have an honest bone in their body and just compulsively lie to employees. Management thinks they're better then the average production worker.

Double standards are giving to different employees based off of how well management likes you, some people get extra vacation or sick days.

I work in the office and find that the team here is great to work with.  It is a very collaborative environment and there is lots of opportunity to learn as the business is the right size for cross training/other opportunities.
The company offers some great additional benefits like regular employee lunches, Christmas party/lunch, Christmas Eve stat holiday, wellness program, etc.

Company is trying to bring into the 21st century. Many new people that think this is automotive and try to run it this way. Pay is horrible and management does  not listen to the veterans on the floor. Specialist job get same pay as the floor. Turnover is high because they expect perfection but do not give you the means to do this.They want numbers over a good product. 

It's an ok company. The pay is low but the company is on bus route which makes it better compared to a lot of other companies around the area. Worked in metal shop and the supervisors I have worked with are the best. But, its still just a job where advancements are rare. It's as if like once you enter the production floor, you would not be considered into any other positions. 
Apart from that,  like I said it's an OK job 

Terrible place to work. Poor management, everyone goes by their own rules and you are micromanaged. Unsupportive environment and no place for growth. It’s like all the unpopular kids in high school got jobs here and now feel as though they are important so they treat other terribly. I would take extra long bathroom breaks just to not be at my desk.

This is by far the worst place I have ever work . Management is misleading and all about nepotism. People are allowed to use their cell phone while on the floor any even if there is a team lead or surpviour around. Its one of the most toxic environments you can work  STAY AWAY IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR MENTAL HEALTH.

At least half of the people dont wear their masks properly during a pandemic and some deny covid exists. Management clearly dont care about employee happiness, coworkers are toxic and there is no organization. Dont work there.
