Yes is a great company, looking forward to work with them. For a very very long tome. Hopefully they have more jobs coming up in the mines. It's good to be in camp. You can concentrate on your work much better. Meet new people especially on days off . It be nice to meet other trades and experience there scope in the mines. I'm looking forward to working abroad and having new experiences. There so much more out there and so much to learn. Hope I get that opportunity.  I'm hoping to get my resume to them.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Rate of pay. The money was decent.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Dealing with incompetent management.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Coworkers on the tools are mostly great. Working on oil sands sites was terrible.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Setting trailers, drywall battens , skirting, flooring

Absolutely terrible workplace, completely uncaring in every way.

Advancement is purely relationship based and not at all tied to performance or seniority.

Management openly belittles employees and falsifies reports to ensure they get off scot free 

Management doesn't care about shortage of staff either, they expect you to work 2 or 3 times as hard 



Do not work for this company, the supervisor micromanage, take credit for your hard work and blame you for any mistakes or incidents. The HR are friends to supervisor's and they will never take your word over their friends. 

Working in shop. Scope out jobs. Roof and siding repairs. Formwork.
Work as a team.
Well instructed on jobs to be done in order of priority.
Got along well with co-workers.
Working in a bug infested environment.
Completion of successful projects.

I really enjoyed working for Alcor and was sorry to quit but my next position offered me a new job and the salary was so good I was unable to justify staying.

The work load was continuous and broad. I learnt how to multitask, how to use JD Edwards. Management was supportive and coworkers we a great part of the work day. The hardest part of the job was trying to stay a head of the work load at times. Most enjoyable part were the people and the teamwork.

toxic  work place, over worked , no growth , blames , lack coordination, no proper training, gossips and unhealthy, no proper job delegation, some superiors making excuse not to show up at work and manipulating pay time to their own interest, favoritism, no fairness or justice.

Great place to work but with any service provider it’s all up to the client on manpower requirements and contract length. The bosses know everyone very personally so they know everyone’s skills and put the correct people in the best place possible. 

Alcor feels like home to me.  I've only worked here for a few months but I feel like I've entered into a family.

Management are wonderful.  If you ask a question they will get you an answer.  They are never too busy to help you or anyone else.
