Working for this guys you have to be prepared to give way to there select few core guys, work svelte can vary from 2 weeks straight or a month straight but if those schedule occurs be prepared to be at at home for a couple of weeks at times so defeats the purpose of working OT for extra money, management is completelyA disconnected with what goes on in the field and if you're not willing to be a part of their after hours get together not only are you an outsider but you'll be the first to be on the chopping block but if you like working hard for two weeks then be unemployed for the following two then this is the place for you and also bring a lot of snacks because this guys takes 1 /2 for breaks and most sites they do 3 breaks

I was employed at Alcro for approx. 6 years; and during that time Alcro quickly became more than a workplace to me.  The office and field culture was flexible and fun. I was able to grow professionally while advancing within. This included obtaining my Health Safety Administrator Certification - this was provided training. In addition, I am now versed in different business related processes such as, accounting, Project management/procurement, employee benefits, and  commercial insurance.  I loved the work as it always seemed that I was learning something new.

Loved working for them, the owner is amazing.

The office is okay some project managers are more concerned with their bonus over the welfare of the workers.

The field employees are great I consider some my really good friends but there is no room for growth if you don’t suck up to management.

Working for them was great, I learnt many valuable skills and techniques. However, available work once you finished a project was not very transparent.

Alcro used to be a great company to work for but the culture there has changed quite a bit. Not as much fun and the coworkers were starting to all become drunks after work. There used to be lots of overtime but that started dropping off to nothing.

Team works well together and everyone gets along. Management is easy to talk to and will address issues should the need arise. Company has built a strong reputation in the industry which makes it easier to engage clients.

Good place to work if you like learning, progressing your experience and like team environment. 
Cons, yes every company has them.  Stability in construction is challenging.  Alcro hits long periods of stability but we do have some down times. 

decent company, work was sporadic. The guys were good to work with,they taught you what you needed to know. they tried hard to keep the pay up so that was nice.

we generally worked four ten hour shifts to get our 40 hours per week, unless overtime was required to get jobs done sooner. management was easy to deal with as they are all electricians.
