Company could be great if they held their senior leaders accountable. Employees promoted based on friendships or past work history with people and not on merit, qualifications or performance. Pay issues still not aligned or fair amount similar jobs. A lot of change and no signs of slowing which makes it hard for employees to settle and do great work

Alectra was a great place to work. Light atmosphere, and great people. Management has been understanding and phenomenal in pushing me to always be my best. Hardest part of the job were Angry Customers. Best part of the job was the people I worked with, and fulfillment that came from helping customers get the resolution they needed.

Short work days, 7 hour day.  The company is only a year and a half old and due to a recent merger.  It is a hydro company, partly publicly owned by the city of Mississauga, Vaughan, Hamilton, Markham, St. Catherines.

The benefits are excellent, the office is pretty lax and quiet. Management is quite friendly, and co-workers are very supportive. I found that cross-department projects could be very disorganized, partly due to management problems.

Alectra Mississauga is an outstanding place to work. The culture there is incredible. The operations team work together as a team and it was a pleasure working with them all. Thank you for the amazing experience.

The team and support was out of this world amazing, however the training left alot to be desired, nothing was structured, and everything was outdated and basically hidden in their system while they left you to essentially find it all yourself. 

I enjoy working in Alectra Utilities - Credit & Collections department as the team I work are professionals and helping, its fun working here. I love working in collections.
