Probably one of if not the worst places I’ve ever worked. During the interview process they make it seem like they care and that there’s so much room for advancement (e.x. Labourer to operator and apprenticeship opportunities) but that’s nothing but a lie.. There are people who have been working for these guys for a long time and are still just labourers after repeatedly asking for training on equipment and even apprenticeships. There is no room for advancement whatsoever. The foreman are good people but lousy leaders and expect their workers to do a job without the proper tools/equipment to do so. Zero reward for good work, the people with absolutely zero work ethic aren’t held accountable and seem to actually be favoured over those who want to work. I don’t have anything good to say about Willowridge…

Good, growing company to work with in town. Good bunch of people, from peers to supervision. Stay away from drama and dont cause any, youll be fine.
Good safe work culture, you wont be shot down for asking questions or belittled if you dont know how to do a task.
Do the job you were hired for and you wont have any problems. Everyone is helpful, no ego's, help others when you can.
A lot of the team is experienced and practice an industrial way of performing tasks (which is the higher standard), not cowboy water and sewer or residential mickey mouse outfit way of doing things.
Do everything according to the work permit, dont skip steps, wait for spotters, dont 'just get'er done', and youll work here for a good while.
IME, supervision is good here. Theyre willing to listen and teach which I thought is phenomenal and helps everyone grow with knowledge.

They are true to their word - valuing positive work environments, encouragement to participate, extremely open with communication and genuinely caring for their employees. This is not easy to find in the construction industry!! The company has grown tremendously & it looks like there's no stopping - which is a great place to be if you want to advance your career. Fellow employees are respectful, positive & caring - a true definition of a team.  Work/life balance is unmatched. Whether personal matters or illness, I have never felt scrutinized for taking time away from the office. Salary/benefits is far above competitive standards too.

Extremely thankful to have found a company who values the person behind the position.

A typical day at work would be I get on the site I get bundled up due to cold weather and I head to the room where I meet my fellow Co-Workers then get ready and head to the site to watch a furnace whether it is on or off or do some other stuff if needed.

I learned Dedication is a must have for a job such as this not to mention keeping active.

The management cared for their workers and their safety they wanted to see nothing more than my fellow Co-Workers Safe.

My Co-Workers liked to talk and share stories a lot of which was interesting, to say the least, we always checked up on each other.

The hardest part of the job was the long hours, nothing more nothing less.

The Most enjoyable part was getting to meet hard workers such as myself and laugh and joke around with them not to mention the fat paychecks.

The whole company seems to be ran by HR… yet is construction, tell me how that makes sense. Everything is he said/she said & no actual investigation goes into finding the truth. Unrealistic expectations, zero proper training and expect to ask for months to actually be trained unless it’s done privately where no documentation takes place because that’s how reliable this company is. Rather than keeping a strong team and moving people where needed, they’ll just lay you off & hire someone new for the position. The company is a gossip company and will likely boost people they like rather than who would be fit for the job. I’ve never seen so many people dislike the company they work for than when I worked there .

Was brought on for a project and was treated pretty good. Was told not to worry that there was lots of work and would be sent to another project after completion then to be told to sit at home and wait for multiple days and then receive a call that the company had no work. After calling other employees who were there core group of guys and everyone was in the same boat. Besides that the supervisor on the project was great and the group of journeymen were just as good. Just always be aware that you might have only been brought on for that one project and your skill and ability wont make a difference if there is no work.

Was brought on to manage HSE program to keep up with client HSE  requirements. Management put on a facade of upward and onward future prospects and positive growth. 

Company culture is closed and paranoid due to lack of work, affecting management integrity, honesty and transparency where job-security and employment/wage-contract is concerned. 

No concrete certainty of future work prospects on the horizon, zero opportunity for advancement, lack of rational decision-making and meaningful risk-taking, amounted to a dead-end nowhere job.

I have been working with Willowridge for a few years now, and this is by far the best job I have ever had working in the construction industry. The Senior Management of Willowridge has done an excellent job of building a culture that is surrounded by teamwork, and safety. They have had constant work for me all year round, and they treat you like like a teammate instead of a number. I really dont have any complaints about my experience here. I feel like a valued important member of their team! If they have openings, I suggest applying to join the team.

This is one of the worst companies to work for. Their core values mean nothing at all, and their Management are very inexperienced in all aspects of managing a company.
This company is very notorious for telling you of all the work... that they actually don't have... and mislead you into believing they do have lots of work. They also talk about the room to advancing within the company and profit sharing, just to keep you for that particular project, then you're gone, and the advancing within and profit sharing doesn't appear to happen..

Willowridge was a great place to work. What I enjoyed the most was the variety of work on a daily basis. They always seem to have multiple projects and active sites on the go which is comforting that you can move from project to project without having to worry about job security. After spending some time there, very apparent that they take care of their people! lots of work and lots of opportunity!
