A great job for people who don’t like going to the gym but could use a shoulder, chest, back, and legs workout that’ll leave you feeling numb for the rest of the day. My coworkers, boss, and associates were all supportive and great people but the hours and pay were not enough. If you’re okay with working 3 times a week with roughly 4 hour shifts, driving to different Home Depots using your personal vehicle and gas (that was partially paid for), then this job could be fit for you. 

The pressure that is placed on the customer service team is wild. You are paid 20$/hr to push yourself to your breaking point. In my case, this meant stress leave. The management doesn’t care about the employees and HR is a joke to seek help. The turnover in the HR department alone is heavy. The company has an us vs them mentality when it comes to the union and not much with this location is collaborative. It’s next to impossible to advance in this company unless you are related to someone within it. Labourers are pushed and treated poorly. Management lives in the 1960’s.  

Decent pay good benefits but also lack of managment skills 
Higher up the ladder is all who you know and how you kiss it 
HR is us vs the union its us against them 
Lots of less then good skilled workers get passes on who they know 
Nepotism is a serious issue with those in control of the reigns 
This place will blow over one day 
Sadly this used to be the place to work in our little town 
No longer is that the case they use $ loses when they use foreign workers for a way smaller % of the pay out of theyre pockets as why they cut jobs 
As a lack of for better words the fact they arent qualified to run the show and be a quality team leader or boss 

As others mentioned, upper management is very much about who you know and lots of nepotism. People are not interested in new ideas and there is a general complacency in the whole company. Alexandria has the potential to be an excellent company. They sell in demand products and have a good position in the market. The culture needs a complete overhaul starting at the top. Unfortunately, that does not seem likely to happen. 

If you want to collect a pay check every week, this is a fine place to work. If you are looking for development, continuous improvement, and learning/sharing of ideas, look elsewhere. 

It's a compliance driven adversaril culture, workers lean on contract and laws to protect themselves management leans on authority and often taking defensive or dismissive tones. Trust between workers and HR/Management are very low The job itself is relatively simple once your job there's nothing else to learn.

They don't push! Very helpful and answer all your questions 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Working nice shifts sucks! It's a very physical job not enough discipline implemented on lazy workers!

Ok should be more white people too many Phillipines 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Hard on the body it's a job for 25 yesr olds

This has been the worst place I’ve ever worked. It’s a highly toxic and unhealthy atmosphere.
I tried my best to succeed but was told I was not good enough…in the end only to find out that some one within the management wanted my job for his son. Hard work and dedication does not pay off here. You are not treated with respect and dignity. Please do yourself a favour and keep looking for something else… you owe it to yourself. This place with eat away at your spirit and self confidence.
 

Alexandria Moulding / NSS has been a great employer for over 15 years. Lots of opportunity to grow within the organization (sales, service, warehouse, management). Competitive wages, relaxed work environment, welcoming culture.

I recommend this organization to anyone looking for a rewarding, flexible, sometimes physical job which allows them to take ownership of their area and work independently.

I work as a Lift Truck Operator and overall it’s been a positive experience. The team is supportive, training is clear, and safety is taken seriously. Work is steady and expectations are straightforward. Good place if you want stable hours, a respectful environment, and a job where you can improve your skills over time

Never had a manager that cared so deeply and was so accommodating! The management here is very understanding and they do care very much for their staff. The work itself is also great. If there’s too much on your plate the team is always there to help and support. I never had an issue working there.
