 I have had a mixed experience over the past few years. The company has several strengths, but there are also areas that need improvement.

 The team spirit and collaboration among employees are commendable. Everyone is willing to help each other, which creates a positive work environment.
The company encourages innovation and is open to new ideas. This has led to some successful projects and improvements in our processes.
The company offers flexible working hours and remote work options, which helps maintain a good work-life balance.
There is a need for better communication between departments. Sometimes, important information gets lost or is not shared in a timely manner.
While there are opportunities for growth, the career development programs could be more structured and accessible to all employees.
At times, there is a lack of resources which can hinder project progress and employee productivity.
Overall it is a decent place to work with a supportive team and a focus on innovation. However, addressing the communication gaps and enhancing career development programs would make it an even better workplace.

I started on summer 2021 with Covid it’s was VR interview. And training  once you being to work. It’s non stop and stressful you are expected to work on. Your own time and on vacation the work is most and all the matters, training and trainer are horrible same as pay. Trainer shows you once and expects you to know it and has a bad attitude HR is clueless and really never meets or has met with staff since I started they don’t care about employees how they feel or why they are over worked, staff have quit and never been replaced the work it’s just moved to others to increase profit and save money for manager while the staff. Are over worked and ignored. HR never talks or ask staff how they are doing   Favourites are key part of the job manager supports the one they l’iodé rest are just stuck in a helpless states.  If you want to be overwhelmed over worked over stressed and disrespected each day and under under paid    Work here !

This company, with decades of existence in Scarborough, appears to be poorly managed(amateurs), leaving employees dissatisfied. From a lack of willingness to teach or provide basic training to a disconnect between management's knowledge and practical skills, the work environment seems challenging. Additionally, hygiene concerns arise during summer BBQs with an uncleaned grill and storing items in chemically contaminated areas, reflecting a need for improvement in overall practices.

I joined Alfa Laval in 2004 in India in Evaporation and Drying group for Engineering. Later on I moved to Sales of Projects.  I used to do detail engineering and process engineering. Then I moved to Canadian counter part of Alfa Laval. I was involved with Oil & Gas projects in project management. Overall I had good work experience.

Alfa Laval provides the opportunity for you grow your professional skills, advance within the company or to remain in your current position.  You are in control of your career and where you want to go.  A great employer that will support you and your career.

At times can be stressful but is rewarding. Continuous improvement mindset on a worldwide scale, room for advancement, growing customer base, voices of the employee program, professional development discussions, travel if you want it.

Training for customer service reps was held at the factory's in Sweden & Denmark Within 2yrs of working at company. 
Employees were valued. 
Another perk, the annual Christmas party also included spouse &  was held in Toronto.

Decent place to work. Its a sales driven company so in the service side there is not much training/ help other then learning from fellow techs. If you need information you have to research.
