Overall my experience with Alliance was mostly good. I learned a lot about concrete pumps and the industry during my time there. There are lots of opportunities to learn new skills at Alliance if you're interested in that. The shifts are always busy and tend to go by quickly.

 Management was mostly good. My only complaint about management was that they didn't always treat the night and day shift crews the same. A lot of the heavy labour jobs got given to the night crew. Sometimes being on nights felt like you were a second rate employee. My only other complaint is that there were a small handful of people that were toxic to work with, and they got away with it because they were good at their jobs. If you're aware of that and stay away from the gossip,  you'll be okay. 

 The thing I enjoyed most though was that there always seemed to be an overall "can do" attitude no matter how difficult something was across the majority of the crew in all departments. 

I worked at Alliance Concrete Pumps for a couple years and people giving this company 1 star reviews clearly don't know what an actual 1 star company looks like. I learned so much working there.  The company continues to grow but keeps the same small company feel. Work hard and you'll never have a problem.  I had lots of opportunity to grow and  worked with a lot of quality guys and girls who didn't slack off and make the job harder. Also out of all the companies I have worked for Alliance by far had the best Christmas party's. 

I've never had a job where it's like a family. Everyone is friends with everyone in some way, everyone helps each other out and usually very positive attitudes. 
There is always something new to learn and great opportunities to apply all your knowledge. If you have questions there is always someone willing to answer and help out. 
The management is always there for you, whether it's work related or personal life. I've spent a lot of days crying in the office to my supervisors and they've helped me through a lot of personal problems.

There's always something to do

Management was terrible, This was the worst place I ever worked. Favoritism was every where and the shop foreman was always hiding behind objects watching you. No company safety polices. This place is an accident waiting to happen.  Don't believe my then why are they always hiring from office to shop floor, They don't pay worth the beans either. Pay peanuts get monkeys welcome to Alliance Concrete Pumps.

Enjoyed my time at Alliance, my coworkers and managers were great and all were very welcoming. The now-owner of the company is very reactive and his temper/mood is unpredictable. During my training period, after being asked to step up into an Accounts Payable position in which I had zero experience, he verbally berated me until I was crying. 

Came here with zero experience and left knowing tremendously more. Ability to climb through the ranks if you put in the effort. Competitive atmosphere, fast-paced but satisfactory work at the end of the day. Thankful for the experience

I really enjoyed working at Alliance as a driver, I was able to see parts of the USA and Canada. Alliance feels more like a family run business then a big for profit business.. The pay is great and the team gets along well.

Good company to work for. I was simply unable to do the assigned tasks in as efficient a manner as they wanted me to, due to pre exsisting issues that i have. More of a compatibility issue then anything else

It's an okay place to work. The wages aren't very competitive and the workload is high. The people are good and the benefits are good. Overall just an okay place to work but not the best long term
