The working environment is awesome, safety measures in place and very busy most of the times.
I gained lots of experiences working with colleagues, supervisors, and managers. I learnt safety procedures, the do's and don'ts in workplace environment and best ways to stay safe while on duty.
Workplace culture we do whatever it takes to get the job going.
I believe there is no job that comes easy but with passion and consistency you make work easy.
The benefits associated with the job makes it enjoyable.

Excellent working environment  where the emphasis is placed on a friendly efficient  progressive atmosphere where a shared  skill base has developed and where technical information is readily available and shared among co-workers and  colleagues, managers are friendly and always readily available when needed.

The work is physically demanding but technically rewarding as the in house training is on going providing every one with valuable job skills, i have enjoyed my time at Almag and would have no issues with working there in the future.

Very stressful place receiving just pushing out orders for them to make daily weight don't care how busy you are. One shift supervisor is great the other not so much even though you are super busy with shipping will tell you to come help in packing aswell. Never a chance to rest long hours for minimal pay no recognition basically the more you know the more they will make you do.

Too much good talking but reality at ground is totally different.. Manager and supervisor don't want to solve the problem. All family members, and one group of people recruit and total favoritism with other team members... Managers afraid to say something to them. Too much harassment for the people, they are not the best managed but the worst managed company... Favorite people get over time, opportunities and all liberties... Not good place for honest, sincere people. They need people who do lot of drama and good in buttering. Hr is so arrogant and biased and racist.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The people. They became my 2nd family.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management. They are unfair and very deceitful. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Both the work environment and culture was good. the company took care of the people. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A lot of laughter and positive energy. And of course work

Owner, who receives several local Brampton awards for business and employee relations, is oblivious to conditions. As example, they went through 30 - 50 applicants in 2 months that I was there. As with most locations, staff and mgmt contemptuous of contract workers and have hard to keep them and acquire permanent hires.

Aluminum plant, heavy lifting, but one could potentially acquire a skill set.

The atmosphere was one of the main reason I couldn't work at Almag for too long, The job was so much fun building skids as-well as the people were entertaining. The building it self tho seemed very gloomy and stressful. I hated to wake up to look at Dark Grey Walls and Yellow Lines to workin a corner of a building. In Winter time though, It did make very cold. Very cold.

Overall, I had a good stint here, it was very nurturing and allowed me to learn and grow. Gained several insights into best practices and general operations.
It was an enjoyable experience. Company was very fair with me, have nothing negative to say at all.


The company was okay to work for, I wouldn't recommend to anyone that can't handle a mentally and physically draining work atmosphere. I believe the management could have been a little better, but the employees were really nice to work with.

Company is a great place to work however, climbing up the ladder is something that seems nearly impossible. Lots of favoritism, and management is not ideal. Few bad apples, but ideally people I worked with were a fantastic bunch.
