Alphanumeric Systems Inc., is in every respect a great company but, according to my experience, I was not given sufficient time to improve in my knowledge of vaccine products. The manager and team leads are very friendly, efficient, and professional people. My personal comment is that they should give new employees a chance to learn and show what they can do in time instead of cutting them short before they have a chance to prove themselves.  I was told by my team lead that I was improving in my customer service stats and the very next day the manager says that he regrettably has to fire me. I must admit I never had such an experience in other call centres where they did give me a chance to succeed.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Worst company ever. The supervisors lack knowledge and need leadership training. The training the give you is different when you hit production. Everyone has different information as to how the work is to be done. Just a big mess. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Working under the supervisors who lack supervisory skills. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Awful. No culture and the environment is stressful

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful and exhausting. They give you one target and you meet it they tell you its not enough

I recently stop working for Alphanumeric, because I decided to do a career change. The jobs here are basically call center in the Health Care environment. 
You get equipment to work, paid training and you are eligible to minimum benefits if you were hired temporary. 
Leadership are very money oriented, but you have good people working in the direct Management. Great virtual setting! You would think you work with your colleagues although you never met them in person.

They pay you so little for the amount of work you have to do and TL or Experts act like its a bother when you ask for help. Some are friendly while others aren't. I'm overwhelmed and stressed at times I get anxiety. The amount of time you have to spend on call or chat is unrealistic the amount of time they gove you to learn the 10 applications they have is unrealistic. Not worth it trust me

I worked over 11 years with Alphanumeric System Inc. the employees are all over the world we worked as a Team in order to provide an excellent Customer Service and Technical Support to our Client Glazo Smith.  My past experiences have shown me that working in this field not only consist of functioning with an analytical mind, but also require interpersonal skills and much initiative.

The only decent part of the job was my 2 weeks of training and after that in turned into a nightmare. The manager is a tyrant and a bully who punishes people she hates and rewards those she likes. If you are one minute late to your desk, you could get fired for it. Simply uncaring and unprofessional environment. I am so glad I am out of there.

A typical day at work was answering phones and entering data.
I have learned a lot. In IT I learnt to install programs, troubleshoot computer issues which I use sometimes for my personnel computer.
Co-workers were friendly and helpful.
Management the  same 
Hardest part was listen to clients scream at me.
Being thanked by a  client for doing a great job.

Very hard to advance.
Really bad hours, with extremely low chances of changing them.
Everything you do is micro-managed.
No salary increases.

However, one thing that I did like was being able to speak to and help people from all over the world.  You'd speak with someone on almost every continent in a given day.

Good entry level job - This is where you can learn and develop your skills to put on your resume to find something way way way way way better. However, the WFH policy might get you very comfortable where you might not want to leave, which can stun your growth.

Work from home 
Not as busy as other call centres 
Open 24 hours so different schedules available depending on languages spoken
