I’ve had the absolute pleasure of both being a customer for a number of years and an employee. 
As a customer, I can honestly say that I have never had a company work so hard to provide me with what I needed to get a job done. They’ve never dropped the ball or disappointed me. You’re in very capable hands with the very professional staff here. 
As an employee, I can’t say enough positive things about Altra and it’s owners. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Adam and his entire team. They are very approachable & they genuinely care about their employees. Since going to work for Altra, I have faced some pretty devastating personal issues and Altra has stood by me and supported me every step of the way. I’ve worked for a few other places in this industry and they all claim to care about their employees & I’m happy to say that Altra isn’t just talk, they really do care and have proven that time and time again. 
I find it to be a very professional place to work and I’ve enjoyed going to work here everyday. As busy as this place gets I do not find it a stressful place to work. In fact it can be quiet fun and light despite how busy it is. 
If you want to work with & for a great team that values it’s employees I would definitely consider Altra Construction Rentals.

Former employee but unfortunately had to move to a new province. Really enjoyed my experience at Altra construction rentals. It was an amazing place to work. Everyone was friendly. Pay was amazing and employer was really easy to talk to if I had any issues. I have worked for many companies and never felt as included as I have been here. The co-workers are really friendly and intelligent. They will always lend a hand if you need help or have a question. The best thing about working for Altra was that if you showed initiative the management always took notice and advanced your status, whether it be with income or prestige. Learning opportunities are always available because it is a growing company. Wish there was another company like this one.

I  worked for ALTRA Construction Rentals for almost 2 years. It is a busy environment, but the people here are great to work with if you you work hard and are respectful of others.
I have found that management is approachable, even when there were times when I had to address some challenging issues within the work place. I believe that I was listened to and saw my concerns addressed in a constructive manner. One thing that I have noticed is that the owners want to get better at dealing with their staff and have made great steps to ensuring that happens.

There is no doubt that this company is a faced paced environment - and it's the challenges that bring about the best rewards. These guys know their stuff - they know their equipment, they're innovative and their service is next to none. Not everyone is cut out to work in an environment that requires the skill of multi-tasking - This company is growing leaps and bounds - hurdling growing pains as they continue to expand. All they need are skilled employees who are excited about growing with them - and in return, you WILL gain their respect and much more.....

This company has a fast-paced environment with tons of opportunities for growth - for both the employees & the company itself. The managers welcome skilled people who bring with them innovation and enthusiasm -- These guys know their stuff and their service is next to none. This company is skyrocketing and going through growing pains at the same time -- Every day is different and presents its own challenges (& in return its own rewards) -- and that's what I like about it.

Horrible place. lot’s of bad talking behind your back and just bad inviorment 
Lots of turn over rate . I seen about 30+ truck drivers come and go . Because the boss was so hot headed . Manegment didn’t care about anything really . Promised the world to you and never delivered ( that’s why a lot of people leave ) and all the trucks are junk.

Great place to work if your a Driver, if your in the shop prepare to be yelled at and talked down to. In either case Management will promise the world but not always deliver. The Employees are a great group of guys and really do deserve better. If you like money and lots of hours its a great place to work. If you prefer to be treated with respect and not as expendable then I would keep looking.

growing company that can prove to be a player in the future. Company management is young and learning but in time will grow. Workplace demands are great and a high level of job performance is expected with little leeway for errors. Benefits are poor and need to improve.

If I can sum up, co workers were very good to work with. Management-owner's, vile environment. Curse, scream at employees on a daily basis.
Family owned, co managment has volitile relationship. Many people quit in short periods of time. No respect for their employees.

Independent rental company that is growing and constantly bringing on new and interesting products to help grow their share of clientele   in the Southern Ontario market.
