Amazing Party and Costume

Every day I would come in, make sure merchandise was adequately stocked and help customers find whatever tickled their fancy.

Working within the effects make up and contact lens department I learned a lot about which make up to use for which purposes and how to create certain effects with it. I would also pass this knowledge on to customers to help them be prepared for their costumes.

Management would only come around every-so-often to make sure everyone was doing their job. More or less non-present, but the store still managed to run smoothly despite that. 

All of my co-workers were easy to get along with, well-rounded people whom were there because they loved their job. Many of us come back every year seasonally for Halloween because we enjoy working there so much.

Hardest part of the job was working with difficult customers whom were demanding about things you couldn't control. Nothing out of the ordinary for retail though.

As someone whom has an immense love for Halloween, I loved working with all the customers, giving them advice for their costumes and hearing their ideas for parties and haunted houses, or whatever other festivities they had planned. I enjoyed it so much that I would usually offer to work 10-12 hours instead of the usual 8.

I worked in the Masks department and things were pretty nice, stuff only ever got hectic around the days leading up to halloween, and I personally got stressed, but that's because of my own personal issues and should not reflect the store. 

Everyone I worked with were super cool and friendly, the store is organized and easy to get used to so you'll always know where things go, and management seemed to be super understanding when i would come in on days a few minutes late. 

you should definitely apply here around september to october if you need some quick cash and don't mind a spooky atmosphere.

Both managers are professional and welcoming to new employees currently in or newly out of school.  On a normal day I would be assigned to an aisle for the day and keep busy moving stock around.  During the halloween season I normally immediately offered assistance to a customer, and consistently did so until the end of my shift.  The hardest part of the job was understanding the chain of command during late hours, while the managers are absent.  The most enjoyable part of the job was the environment and gratification from helping another customer.

I was a cashier there for two seasons work. They watch you a lot in the begining but once you show you are comfortable, you are able to work with out supervision but still need managment authroization for certain transcations. Overall I like working there as my season part time Job around Halloween. Staff that is hired is great.. certain managment though can be rude..

Loved it at amazing.  Made life long friends and blew up more balloons then I could count. If I had the chance to work there agian I would in a flash. They moved and had to get rid of alot of staff

The managements great and the energy is as well. Great seasonal job during Halloween. However if your hoping to stay on full time good luck. They have a very tight kit group of full timers and seldom bring on anyone new.

welcoming and fun place to work. I gained many skills working here, the customers come in for an experience while shopping and it is exciting to provide that. Hardest part of the job is the high demand during Halloween to maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Amazing party is a very well put topgether organization that respects its customers and needs of them. They also respect their employees and always treat them with kindness

Worked there for a few years as a Highschool student; It was an easy job that was easy to apply for with incredibly easy work. The only issue was dealing with other co-workers. Other students would steal & slack off making the work environment pretty toxic.

Can meet great people at Halloween. Work for temp staff is pretty easy and fun if you like a busy work environment. For regular staff a typical day is getting costumes for customers, stocking shelves, doing cash and helping customers find products.
