As a 1st time massage therapist, it's one of the easiest places to start. Lots of clients, decent hours (sometimes too many) andvery little involvement in booking. (you come in, do your hours and clock out. nothing to bring home)
I learned how to conserve my stamina and how to stick to my alotted time. I was able to refine my techniques and build endurance.
Management has changed 5 times in the 3 years I worked there and they have many issues keeping good staff.
The hardest part of the job is to not get involved with issues about management and keep your maximum hours respected.

-Allowing employés work minimum 3 jours unless youvate autonom.  With ability to make 6 hours a day.
-Best management I have ever worked with.
-They offer training to improve team's skills.  
-Respect seniority

•Treatments are 50 mins long so you have in-between 5 to 10 mins to clean station/room/try to sell a product, to then be ready for the next client, having a client one after the other.
•Hours are extremely variable (can be as little as a 3 hour shift)
•Pay is a bit over minimum wage

Nice environment but work hours are not stable.
It use to be busier during the winter for ski season but that has declined. Services are so expensive so that may be an issue now. Most of the massage therapists have second jobs to get by.
