Amnesty International

Every year the write for rights campaign collects as many letters as possible toward a selection of human right violations. Many members volunteer world wide advocating for those who do not have a voice. Working with the campaign includes chatting with people who walk by about the human right violations and asking them to sign a letter against the violation and contribute to the world wide effort.

Some may find it very uncomfortable to ask strangers for their credit card information on the streets, as I did. You may need to interact with less than pleasant people and those who don't have time to stop for you but did due to them being kind people. It's not a job for everyone but those who don't mind the conditions will enjoy it a lot.

The overall experience has been insufficient due to poor management and advancement opportunities. As a result the organization has faded and left a damp impression on those who have worked for it these past couple of years.

If you only knew the real amnesty you would not donate very stressful work if they don’t like you they will make sure to get ride if you hardly any multi cultural people 

i was usually at the front dest opening the door or picking up incoming phone calls.
i learned how to be patient and how to work independently.
the management was good.
co-workers were nice to work with... very friendly people.
the hardest part was getting bored so easily.

My work with Amnesty International was very memorable. I did volunteer work signing online petitions through my local library in order to help cases of social justice and individual rescue for those suffering world-wide.

the company is amazing. the employees treat with respect no matter what nationality one belongs to. the opportunity to work on ourselves as well as for the job is just the best part. you grow as a person when ou work there

This was a wonderful collective of students who worked together to bring awareness of a great cause. many of us are still fairly close. o would encourage other to get involve on any way possible.

Great office environment with lots of activities. Great working ethics exhibited by staff.

Working as a volunteer, however, I can comment about pay as I my engagement is not paid for.

Great place to volunteer and build teamwork, organization, leadership, and communication skills. Supportive environment with passionate people. Lot of commitment.
