What is the best part of working at the company?
I had a very disappointing experience working at this company. The workplace culture felt quite toxic, and there was very little support for employees.

Management was unorganized and ineffective, and communication was often unclear. Instead of helping employees grow, it often felt like people were left on their own without guidance.

Another issue was the unfair treatment among employees, which at times felt like discrimination between staff members. This created an uncomfortable environment where not everyone was treated equally.

Overall, it felt like an outdated workplace culture that has not adapted to modern standards of professionalism and employee support. I hope the company takes feedback seriously and works toward creating a healthier and more respectful environment for future employees.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Another stressful aspect was the unequal treatment among employees. At times it felt like favoritism or discrimination existed between staff members, which made the workplace uncomfortable and discouraging. Combined with outdated management practices, this created an environment where employees felt unsupported and undervalued.

It's an okay place to work if you desperately need employment, or are coming directly out of school.

For more experienced individuals, I'd stay away and look for something else. There's no room for advancement and there's a lot of nepotism and favouritism. Management is very old and and set in their ways. The GM is out to lunch and is very primitive in his way of thinking. This company relies on old products to sustain their business and there is no innovation occurring. Most people working here are either straight out of school, immigrants, or have been working here for 20+ years. There is a huge age gap missing, 30-45 year olds, probably because there are a lot better opportunities out there. I'd avoid this company if possible 

When your director gets demoted in less than 6 months of your hiring due to lack of personal , it's very demotivating. When you give your resignation due to the lack of communication and the obscure structure about the workplace and your director tells you "well nothing can be done at this point...", its very demotivating. When people constantly backbite and lie about each other, its very demotivating. Amphenol, please understand that the year is now 2019 and things have changed. Young talents will not stay or will not want to be recruited by you if these old geezers that have been here for the past 4000 years dont change their ways. I hope the best for those who try their hardest and for those who are hindering the success of others in this work place, I hope they cease to exist.

Everyone is kept to themselves, there's a neutral atmosphere and no culture whatsoever. The turnover rate is quite high and management is quite stingy about paying you overtime and will hound you for any expenses you make (even for something as little as $10).

Aside from all those, if you are comfortable working in a micro-managed environment--it's not too bad. You are expected to know everything, there is very little to no training. Being new is no excuse, corporate will expect you to be exceptional at your job. They will not provide you guidance on how to do anything, so if you do it wrong, they'll send you nasty e-mails instead of being professional about it.

I believe we should respect immigration culture, but they have to speak English, not MANDARIN (They live in Canada and must speak English). They must adjust to Canadian culture NOT there's!!!!!!. Most Employees who work in Amphenol are from China and India, and they always speak Mandarin, not English and it is so annoying.

As is my habit i worked diligently and fast which was appreciated by my immediate supervisor but not by my colleagues who hinted that i should slow down. Regretfully i was asked to leave after working for four months due to a complaint of my supervisor, i was told, and who was himself released from his job the week after my job was terminated,

Amphenol had a lot of potential to be life time employment. But due to poor management decisions and the inability to work with and listen to suggestion from employees made this job difficult on a daily basis. I value quality in any company I work with in a high degree. Quality at Amphenol was unattainable although parts were and are shipped out in this manner with pressure from management. This was my least favorite part of the job. If you value quality in you work, Amphenol is not the place to achieve that.

well, I have a lot to write but all I can say is that Amphenol is all about hypocrisy, politics and Diplomacy.  I worked as production supervisor in Mississauga facility. Entire management in facility is off the street hires with very low level of interpersonal and communication skills. top management would listen to rumors then facts. I felt so relieved after stepping out from the facility. Don't work in Mississauga facility. 

Flexible working hour, 7.5 hours work day. Allow everyone to work and learn. Support employees with difficulty. Everyone is treated with respect.  The hardest part of the job is to find a feasible solution for a design's requirements, both electrical and mechanical. The most enjoyable part of the job is to inspect and test prototype samples.

At Amphenol Canada I was fortunate enough to try different aspects within the company. I spent most of my time doing data entry, retrieving quotes, and completeing purchase orders.

I also spent an hour each day at reception dealing with phone calls and responding to general emails.

Amphenol Canada allowed me with the opportunity to get a taste of a professional business environment.
