My typical day at my work is to make sure that everything runs smoothly and in orderly with my clients,visitors or the customers that are entering the location where i am working.I learned that being a secuirty officer you get to know people,places and how to conduct your when working with people in general and how to deal with emergencies.Dealing with managment sometimes can be good or rough but you get to learn plenty things from them always.When working with your co-workers some of them dont want to get up and search the vehicles or people of what the clients recommended of us to be doing and  some co-wokers are very co-operative with you on the location but i dont love a co-worker who is a thief or have a crimeral records working with me.The hardest part of my job is not to sleep while on the job and to prevent criminals from entering the location or the building in which i am working.the most enjoyable part of my job is seeing that everything went through perfectly and making sure that my client is satisfied with my work at the end of duty and getting my salary...

Andrew's was a very respectful company, although HR is stationed in Toronto, ON and we operated out of Chatham, ON they were always willing to help in any way they could. Being a supervisor it was nice to know they they appreciated the job I was doing. They originally were based only in the states and then branched into Canada. They made a big impact in the Toronto area but didn't get any other sites in Chatham or surrounding area. When the contract ended in February 2014 they weren't able to relocate. I will miss working with my coworkers and management but like that we can keep in touch.

Upon startup, the training and management were top notch. Very high profile anti piracy gigs, great interaction and well trained teams.  After about 5 years however, the corporate culture changed, and they stopped calling me.  I was passed over for promotions and ultimately I heard they went out of business in the Toronto area, although not 100% sure on that.  Sad how it ended as it was an excellent gig. 

A typical day consisted of me setting up all the guards routes for the day and the points they would need to scan into the system, I would complete the schedule for the following two weeks. Furthermore I would complete my routes, walk the floor and assist with any customer service issues and health and safety issues

Andrews is a pretty decent company to work for. Its hourly wages are at par or higher then most Security companies out there today.
In my time with Andrews International, I have learned alot about Security Staff Management, Training, Staffing, Customer Service, Screening

Very confusing and unprofessional security company I’ve ever worked for. From poor management, payroll errors and hiring process. Many duties for almost minimum wage! 
I have a wide security background, including international experience, airports, refineries and embassy.

With Andrews international, I've been posted at amazon as a security guard and I've learned how to do wanding and i was given the opportunity to check back pack for the staff for unauthorised item being brought in and out. We also had a log where staff was entering the information of what they bringing along with them.

This is a great security job with room for advancement. Unlike most security jobs where a lot of confrontation is going on, Andrews is more laid back. If there is a problem, you report back to your supervisor and they handle everything. You know what to do and what is expected of you.

I enjoyed my work and I had a great with my junior staff.

Unfortunately, the management became infuriate against the stability I had with my staff and the clients. 

I did go out of my ways many time but less appreciation was there.

This company put me on the part of success in this security job. I am proud of them for my initial employment.
