The experience here was valuable however management treated the teachers unfairly- instead of uplifting, management seemed to always want to point out the errors in a style that belittled the teachers, resulting in a lack of motivation to even be there much less meet or exceed their expectations. The person who is specifically responsible for this seemed to have gotten satisfaction portraying herself as more competent than her colleagues. This was not an exemplary portrayal of good leadership and is quite frankly the main reason why I left this place. There was no encouragement for us (the teachers) to speak up about our concerns, and if we did, we were treated as if we crossed boundaries. The toxicity from management alone disappointed me and as a so-called Christian establishment I think they contradicted themselves. 

Mental health was certainly not a priority, since management demanded that teachers do not call in sick unless they are vomiting, having a stomach bug or any illness that will expose bodily fluids to others. Very inconsiderate of persons who had to battle with issues regarding their mental health, but felt apprehensive to take a sick day to address that issue. The teachers didn’t feel valued at all and management always made it seem as if we failed to ‘sacrifice’ ourselves in order to be good ECEs.

Lesson plans were far too time and energy consuming, since management would collect the planners on Mondays, and sometimes until Wednesday or Thursday the planners would be sent back and forth between some teachers and the person on the management team responsible for reviewing the planners all because of pointless ‘error correction’. So because of this, a lot of our work was taken home CONSISTENTLY in order for the planners to be ‘perfected’ only for them to be critiqued all over again. By the time this individual would sign off on the planners, it would be time to get started on the planner for the following week which would be critiqued in the same way all over again.

These issues are just a few among a long list of other issues, and it is not unreasonable to say that the teachers are very underpaid for the unnecessary issues they have to face there.

I've started working here a little over a month and can tell you I was welcomed with open arms. It's not always easy staring a new job but Tim and the whole team made me feel like I've been working there for years. It's a very fast paced environment but Tim & Evette are there for you with whatever you need. As long as you do your part as a team member and the follow the rules with what is expected in a childcare classroom by an RECE like myself, you'll do great here. There's always two sides to a story but I can tell you any bad things you hear of Angelic Treasures is due to disgruntled employees who unfortunately did not do their part. Our high priority is the children and if you are not taking care of them the way they should be, you should not be in this field.

Angelic Treasures had a lot of positive and negative energy related. It was an easy laid back environment with no such learning and the pay was just awful. If you want to just gain experience I suggest you work here but honestly I would only stay for a few months and then go elsewhere. The salary unfortunately doesn’t meet the needs of an employee. A lot of work is going on and salary is poor. If you are very experienced do not go to this centre as you won’t be satisfied. If you just want to do supply work then it’s for you! Just think wisely before choosing Angelic Treasures! Hope this helps!!  -

Bad and unbelievable management (everything does not make sense), high workload with low pay. 90% of the people have zero empathy and low IQ, no opportunity to grow or move laterally even if you are highly educated internationally, need to be friends with the management or are an A-kisser to get promoted. The atmosphere was, unfortunately, what I would describe as "toxic."

The management  team values me and my expertise. Even throughout Covid-19, they volunteered to pay our medical benefits without deducting it from us. This is awesome and no other job would ever do that. They send us links to upgrade our knowledge, we take a day off once a year for professional development and we are encouraged to take time off for holidays for mental health. I love this place, it is a compassionate and loving place to work. The owners truly, deeply care about the children in their care and they are hard on staff to continue with the best standards of care for the children and their families.

Angelic Treasures Daycare Mississauga East is amazing. Its a great place to work. the atmosphere is filled with so much love, respect, and happiness. EVERYONE is always willing to help out, super friendly, and encouraging. It feels like one BIG family.  The supervisors are so understanding and accommodating and treat every single person with the same respect.  The professionalism is great here.  They give praises when its needed, and appreciation. 



My journey at Angelic Treasures has been a wonderful learning experience that has helped shape my personal and professional career. I have pursued further advanced ECE programs free of cost with the support of management and ECE grants. The best thing of all, I feel very comfortable and optimistic working in a Christian environment. The team is very understanding, collaborative and fun-loving. I love working with the little angels and their families here.

Angelic  Christian daycare is a very toxic and stressful environment. Only favouritism is there. There’s no support  from management whatsoever. They only listen to their friends bringing them news very unprofessional work environment. Not a great place to work Font be fooled by everything in the ad it’s not true unless you kids up to them you don’t be good enough 


The worst place to work in, they use everything against you, the staff management is soo terrible, they don't treat the staffs and children right. They dont value staffs, and lie about being Christian's, and give you a hard time for calling in sick. The boss and daughter are too over themselves.  I do not recommend qualified eces to apply. You will be stressed!!

I worked at Angelic Treasures for over a year but I think it's time for me to take my experience in another environment as registered early childhood educator. It was an awesome experience working at Angelic treasures but I want to be able to take more serious roles as an educator.
