I learned many different and valuable things from this work experience. Firstly I gained hands on experience with assorted power tools and construction equipment. Working alone with a list of tasks for the day helped me build management skills to effectively use my time and complete tasks before or on time. Finally, getting to work along side many different trade workers helped me build interpersonal skills and learn how to manage my work as well those working in the same work space as me. The hardest part about this job was being out in the elements all day, working hard physically. Over the summer it would get really hot and was very physically draining.  The workplace culture and on site management was a major positive to this work experience due to their trust to leave me to my own tasks as well as being very supportive if I was ever in need of extra help or direction.

Management is uneducated and incompetent. They promise you growth and job security but never offer you ways to improve. If you don't fit in to their "optics" of coming to the office every day (even when working from home is the preferred option) and doing exactly what they say, they will let you go. They promote free expression and directness, but when you are honest they tell you, you are wrong and need to work on yourself. The company "culture" is a complete lie, do not waste your time with Anthem as they will just screw you over and claim all your hard work as their own. They claim to care about their employees and mental health, and say they understand that personal things happen but are very judgmental and punish you when you take valid and approved vacation or leave.

I worked for Anthem to get more knowledge in my carpentry skills and they really help you to have more skills in life in general.There are workers that I learned to do multiple task from in different location of the job site.Very helpful at times because there’s walkie talkies available to give us orders for the workers that we see that needed help on with proper respect in training.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Aside from the stress and day to day belittling it's a wonderful company to learn how not to do things and how to be reactive and never learn any proactive habits 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The insane demands the realization of tripping over dimes to pick up pennies

Like all company's good days and bad days

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Get to work get told what to do for the day do what they request told

Typical day was to due building maintenance . Being the new guy i had to work near another guy. He was constanly watching over me, treating me like his lil puppy , he wanted to but it didnt go his way .Very rude to the tenents that lived there  . After time he went behind my back and went to management .I get let go and accused of something i didnt do, didnt even get a warning or chance to say my side of the story . 

Responsive for all the requests related for the websites
Update and maintain the intranet (SharePoint)
Learned SQL stored procedures, CRM and Visual Studio Reporting tool. Got opportunity to improve javascript skills
Had a really good manager and the co-workers
Hardest part of the job is to get the approval to go live with a product
Working with the team

Company hires great people in all areas. Growth is explosive but positive vibe is unflappable.

In general not bad working environment. 
Coworkers are nice to work with. Traditional top-down management, maybe a little bureaucracy but should be fine with a good manager. Compensation/bonus/insurance benefit is fair. 
Job itself is occasionally demanding for quarterly and year-end reporting, no need to do much overtime if you are good at the job though.
