What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Equipment is poorly maintained. Most the hot oilers are over weight. Management never keeps their word. Little respect for employees and personal time. Ask you to work past your hours of service regularly and then give you ream you out about it. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very toxic atmosphere in the shop. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Easy days for the most part. But can be rough when the equipment breaks down and that happens to often.

My journey with Apex Well Servicing has always been positive.
Apex Well Servicing has a great on-boarding program which makes sure that the Team always is aware of what is offered and what is required. The compensation is always above Industry average. 
I know that the Oil and Gas Industry always has high's and low's but Apex always has projects for the Team to keep busy and make money when times are slow.
I am lucky to have the opportunity to be apart of the Apex Well Servicing Team!

Be very careful if you choose to work here. Zero maintenance schedule for equipment and half the required gear is missing. Like pumps on tank trailers and fuel filters on diesel superheaters. All dispatches come from Slave Lake regardless of your location. Communication in this company is abysmal at best. Collaboration is also terrible between field workers and management. I suggest looking for a better company to work for.

Been like family for 10 years now

There's been nothing to stress about at this company honestly been great

Pretty laid-back crews are great management is awesome and they treat you well 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Early morning's and late nights pending on the operations nice equipment to work with

Management team is nothing but yes men,
Do not pay any travel or composition for base to base travel, crew houses are very crowded and require you to bunk with strangers you don't work with, even make you sleep in storage closets, pay minimum wage for shop time if you get payed for it, maintenance is none existent same as safety, lots of screaming, equipment is run down, save yourself some pain and suffering and try a real company

Nothing really is stressful when your not in charge

It is a fair environment to work in

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy and a wide array of things to do or fix

There is no redeemable quality about this service rig company. The management is horrendous, the work culture is straight from 1950 and there is no care for personnel, equipment or basic human decency.

You will be taken advantage of.
You will be lied to.
The promises made just get your foot in the door so you can be tossed around and "stuck."
Avoid, avoid avoid.

Verry unorganized, unreliable work scheduel.  Didnt work there long but seemed to always be talk of lots of work but many disgruntled employees stuck in the shop working on the equipment for low pay when they were told they would be busy in the field. Employees are just used as cheap labor mechanics instead of operating the equipment.

I give this company 10 out of 10, the people are the best in the industry very professional. I found a opportunity I can't pass up but I would definitely work with these folks again if needed and recommend any people I may know needing employment.

You can book days off in advance, but good luck getting them unless they hire you as a manager or Field supervisor. They pay kinda good compared to other companies. Their benefits are a joke. They don't take care of equipment, only thing they regularly get is an oil change.
