This was the worst place that I have ever worked. The company culture is one of passing the buck and placing blame on others. Nobody wants to do their work. Nobody cares about their jobs, the product quality or the customers. Everyone is always "too busy" to help others, show them how it is done or ensure it gets complete. 

Management has their heads in the sand about everything. They are rude and aggressive. Nobody ever says thank you for a job well done, sends rude emails constantly and spends all their time in meetings.

Meetings were always unproductive, nothing got accomplished.

Felt like groundhog day; every few days we would discuss the same issue as if it was brand new, a solution would be demanded but then nothing would happen until next time it would be talked about and then treated as if it was new information!

No accountability. No follow-through. Lying about problems or pointing the finger at someone else.

Unimportant tasks got focused on until completion, but the stuff that mattered would be avoided, or people would down play it.

There were few people who did any real work, and those people would be overloaded with tasks, and everyone would pawn off their work to those people.

No opportunity for advancement, unless you were a "yes" man. If you told management the truth about things you would be treated poorly and pushed aside.

The highest employee turnover I have ever seen. Constantly new employees through the door, people constantly quitting or being fired. 
Entire departments would turn over during my time there. The people who worked hard got fired or quit, while the people who did no real work got promoted.

Everyone was miserable. Horrible energy in the place.

Highly suggest to avoid this place at all costs!!!!!!!!

Everything was terrible: poor management they bully you and expect that the more they talk down to you or yell the harder you will work; horrible working environment as its a production facility and office space with everything being dirty and poorly kept, disrepair everywhere; miserable co-workers who all gossip and will step all over you in the hope of praise or advancement; no advancement opportunities unless you are a "yes" person and overlook the horrible violations happening around you; negligible health & safety practices, everyone knows that machines are falling apart and shortcuts are taken everywhere, overloaded warehouse with things spilling from the racks, dirty filthy production area and nobody cares or does anything about any of it; the highest employee turnover I have ever witnessed in any workplace; zero clarity of your role and if you dare to ask your manager for clarification or assistance then you get yelled at or belittled or given extra work as punishment, told you are incompetent, or told you should be able to figure it out; no ability to point out concerns or problems as you will be forced out/ fired/ laid-off or ignored.  "50 best managed companies" for many years..... they pay to have that designation, do not be fooled.

- Very toxic and political environment 
- A specific community has almost all the power 
- Manager can't even speak English properly, knows almost nothing about the lab, has very poor to none managerial skills, treats people differently (some people do nothing and are just walking around or sitting with manager in his office for hours talking), comes in the lab every 15 minutes and calls someone to his office (Use your phone or email for god sake) 
- There is no training for people who get hired! They will be put to work from the 2nd day! 
- There is always something wrong with the products, some even get shipped before testing is completed! 
- You can't even warm your food! It's a JOKE!
- Newly hired people are getting more than people who have been there for years!! 
- When there is an audit, they hide everything. 
- Lab supervisor walks in the lab in high heels and a mini skirt (tell me about GMP) !!! 
- Insurance is a joke, for example the vision coverage (eye glasses, ...) is $100 for two years!!!

Starting of shift lines are down mostly due to scheduling issues. I have learned that no matter how much training and experience you may have accumulated in your carear when working for a privately owned company there is only one way their way or the highway. 

Management was changed regularly at the whim of the owners. Co workers were mostly promoted from within and very afraid of loosing their job on a daily basis.

The hardest part of the job was trying to understand why there was never a proper schedule to follow not even 2 shifts worth and yet the owners would send personel emails to the supervisors bashing them for not making numbers.

After working mandatory 6 days a week and being flipped from shift to shift with little or no notice the most enjoyable part of the job was leaving.

Workers use their native languages ​​a lot in the workplace in directing things, which leads to others who don't know those languages ​​not learning more or get new things because it is like there is isolation and makes the Production results not standardized and also it is not a proper team worker. English should be used all the time as the language of all the people in the Workplace. It is forbidden to use the natural language to direct something or in the workplace ,during production

Working here is a joke!! Manager and Lab Supervisor have differences within themselves and neither of them seem to care for their staff. HR and Manager promises you of good career options for future growth but everything is a sweet lie. They fool you around with a smile.

Hard working individuals keep working hard while others take long breaks and hardly work in their shifts. Every week they hire new people as no one stays. Extremely toxic environment and political environment. 

GDP and GMP is just in their books as no one cares about anything. None of the employees are satisfied by what they are paid and you could be a lucky, if you see a single smile on someone’s face.

Very disappointing as the management doesn’t even care after watching people leaving every week!!

A typical day at work for me would of been to track  inventory and solve any discrepancies between finish product, material purchased, product sold and quantity on hand.

At this company I was able to learn a lot about Health, and Safety, Labour Laws, and the Manufacturing of beauty care products.

The management at my time was very cooperative and helpful.

I was indeed bless to have worked with a good bunch of guys of whom I was very instrumental in training and most of them still work there.

The hardest part of the job is to keep up with the high volume of products to be shipped.

My enjoyment on this job was to see a product from its raw material stage go through manufacturing, Packaging, shipping and eventually reach to the customer shelves all over the world.

•	Purchase Corrugate & Fragrances on a daily basis
•	Preparation of Purchase orders
•	Liaise with stakeholders on a daily basis to determine inventory level
•	Negotiate prices to fix lump sum for tender returns.
•	Work on an ‘order and release’ format
•	Daily Meetings with Suppliers to look at JIT deliveries. 
•	Making sure we work to our full potential to meet customer requirements
•	Work with accounting on blocked invoices
•	Forecast fragrances, making sure we have enough inventory for new product launches
•	Circulate artwork with suppliers for new products
•	Liaise with Account Managers on new/old products
•	Tender savings of around $350,000 on corrugate. 
•	Ensuring supplier T&C’s are correct and if not negotiable

A typical day in Apollo is fast paced, with multiple priorities and challenges requiring quick attention and resolutions.

I learn to think and to be quick on my feet to adapt to changing sutiations and products/customer requirements. 

Management is enterpreneural with matrix identity.

They bring the best out of me daily.

The hardest part is launching average of 2 products per day and also accomodating constant customer changes to new and existing product specs to meet private labels market need.

The most enjoyable part of the job is seeing my mentees grasp the impact of new ideas as they apply them.

Good higher management and fair enough cleanliness standards. highly dependent on agency labourers. wage increases every year but be happy and contended with few cents extra. and then come to the worst part of the job...quite a few number of long-timer bullies who claim to personally be close to the directors make the whole work atmosphere toxic for new hires. some of those bullies drive a forklift there, others are just technicians but roam around every where ready to not welcome you but mistreat and bully you at every opportunity they can get.
