My personal experience at the company has left me with a profound sense of trauma. The compensation provided doesn't seem commensurate with the level of effort expected during training. Additionally, some trainers exhibited egotistical behaviour and struggled with effective communication, often resorting to micromanagement and intimidation tactics. It's worth mentioning that the company exclusively collaborates with American physicians, which exacerbates the significant pay disparity for Canadian employees, raising questions about fairness given the nature of its operations. 

One particularly notable incident involved trainees threatening new hires with strikes for exceeding 8 hours a day, which the company considered as overtime. I had to clarify that overtime in Ontario, Canada is calculated on a weekly basis, not daily. Lastly, it's crucial to note that your relationship with your trainee plays a pivotal role in your employment at the company, as they have the sole authority to determine your fate within the organization.

A typical day at work varies depending on the job, but it often involves tasks related to your role or responsibilities. It may include meetings, emails, collaborating with colleagues, and completing projects.

The hardest part of a job can be dealing with challenging tasks, deadlines, or working with difficult colleagues or clients.

The most enjoyable part of a job is often the satisfaction of completing projects, achieving goals, and working with a supportive and friendly team. Job satisfaction can also come from a sense of accomplishment and growth.

Been an independent contractor with this company for many years now. There's no opportunity for advancement and no raises for those working in this position. Management is uncommunicative (Want clarification on something? Good luck!). Some QA members are unprofessional and impatient. Pay doesn't reflect the level of knowledge, energy, or time required to do the job according to their specifications. Work isn't steady, and if there's no work to do, you're not getting paid. Lack of benefits, etc seemed like a reasonable trade for remote work in pre-COVID days. Post-COVID, I have a lot of questions about this company's practices. The flexibility is great, but I could only see this as being a good job overall for someone who has no other options or who wants to gain some medical knowledge. Part-time is okay. Full-time is a nightmare.

As a new scribe trainee, I have found a lot of opportunities to seek support and guide when required throughout the training process. The communication is open, clear and personalized allowing people to freely shared their thoughts as needed without feeling scrutinized.  The training staff are well versed with variations in understanding and contact availability. Although it is tough to master the verbiage and tone of the notes in some specialities over the limited time it is manageable. It is difficult to capture all the details of an encounter if the provider is speaking very quickly. 

Don't waste your time.
Training is absolutely a joke. First, they give you tons of work to complete in a limited time. You have to complete and practice it in your own time. The pay scale is low for the time and energy you put in. It seems like the company's management's only job is to look for reasons to separate you from the employment. They don't give you justifiable reasons for their evaluation. It's just what they say because they are the authority.  For my first evaluation, they said passing score was 90%, and I got exactly 90%, but still, they wanted me to do the test again. And similar at every step, so much scrutiny.
I felt like they act pleasant in the front but are not nice or accommodating practically.

Work from home, flexibility, how we are paid (i.e. audio minute; not line)

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
On some accounts, there is a bully-style of management; managers/trainers are not friendly;  recent pay cut

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Remote work.  Not in work environment.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very simple; log in and start typing making sure to meet at least contracted expectations and being accurate.

There is plenty of opportunity to learn as you work. The hours can be long with no breaks throughout the day, and you will be sitting for long hours. The company itself is great to work for. There is always someone available to help if you need it. The hourly pay is lower than it should be for the quality of work and speed that you are expected to perform at. Overall, it's a good place to work. It would be difficult to perform this job for longer than a year or 2 without burning out.

The job has its ups and downs like many, and the pay could be better, but the flexibility I have with this job makes it worth while.  My team is supportive and i feel i can come to multiple people with questions or concerns.

The company has a history of not paying their employees. There is a large turn over rate due to that and kick backs are paid to school and institutions to help them recruit. 
Would never work here again, was in management and learned that they don’t care about the employee’s just as long as they are working and making money for them. With holding salaries for many employees. 

High expectations for low pay wage. Aquity only pays 20 cents more than the minimum wage rate for homeworkers. If this is all right with you, then make sure you have the aptitude for online learning during the training period.
