I definitely would recommend getting your foot in the door at Archmill. They are a growing company with plenty of jobs becomong available as they strive for new heights in terms of Sales. Job security is a guarantee here. It's a consistently improving company as well, so as we all collectively work through the kinks of streamlining processes, they appreciate feedback to ensure long-term efficiency. 

Culture-wise, they are great! There's plenty of fun initiatives that they hold through the year to engage all the staff. Potlucks, pizza lunches, BBQ days, weekly trivia games, quarterly meetings, ping pong championships, etc. They even recognize their staff monthly for going above and beyond in their job. 

Had 2 managers in Logistics that had zero idea on the expectations that ownership had for the team. Both ownership and management lied to team members about advancement opportunities amongst other things. 

Tasked us with moving everything from one warehouse to another within a month, on the deadline day they fired the whole team except one employee who was a contracted employee that didn't get benefits or stat pay. 

Nepotism runs wild here, family is embedded in different roles and there is some odd ties to a "community" that the Owners are apart of. 

Managers openly talk about how everyone is just a "number" and can be replaced. 

Just walk their production floor and you'll get a good idea of who the company is willing to keep and why..

The workplace is quite disorganized and messy - even if you clean up, night shift will just leave it a mess and misplace tools. Needed items are often out of stock or jobs are not released for you to begin work on them. Or jobs are released to the floor full of errors. Then you are blamed for not being productive. Management does not take worker safety and HR claims seriously. Management comes by and yells at people for working slowly, but offers no real support for betterment of skills. Progression to better positions is possible, but pay increases are minimal. A lot of the people you work with on the floor are great and will try to teach you what they know, especially the older employees. Overall the workplace feels depressing and dead end and there is lots of turnover.

Archmill House is a great company where the management values the works of their employees. This is a family run business where the company culture excels everywhere. I enjoyed my time working there. You will find interesting and challenging works that will boost your confidence and further your professional skills. The management recognizes the talents and encourages them in the long run. There are many fun events that would make your typical work day joyful. I would highly recommend working for this company.

I really enjoyed my my time here at Archmill.  The management was great and the staff here are amazing.  Very good at what they do.  The project managers are very collaborative and helpful. The days here are scheduled in advance, however the odd project pops in as a rush and changes that. They truly do invest in their people and want to promote from within.

Archmill House has a very organized on-boarding experience! The first week had a balanced schedule of new learnings and time assigned to become familiar with the workplace. The people are very approachable and collaboration is encouraged. There are monthly social committee activities that allows the team to step away from work and get to know each other. 

If you're a person who can not talk during working hours and focus solely on the job- then this place is for you. The Management has no official training program for any of their industrial machines, just expect to learn as you go. If you do not constantly ask questions, do not expect to go far here. Then again, if you do constantly ask questions, also do not expect to go far here. I worked there for 

After reading the other reviews for this company, I am convinced the 5 star reviews are from HR trying to convince people that Archmill is a great place to work.  The amount of low ratings should be a key indication that there is a high chance you will not like it here or they will not like you.  I loved the product but the management style is why there is a high turnover. 

I had a great experience working under a high class company and a friendly crew of workers.it was a very challenging job with lots of responsibilities like sanding granite units with sander,cut them with the saw put them on the shaper machine make skids normally they made products of Mcdonalds,timhortons,and scotiabank
