Started shift 23:00, but usually arrived at 22:45 to meet with afternoon shift clerks to help clear their paperwork and get prepared for the night shift to begin.
Check the inbound schedule, converse with shift driver to pull out any empty trailers in dock doors to free up for our live loads coming in and to pull in any drop trailers that were in yard due for offload.
Check drivers in on schedule, assign dock doors to them .  Assigned receiving teams loads for offload.
I learnt about the Transportation Industry, spreadsheets, database entry, and reports for end of shift for management and our 
client.
Management was always informative and honest with matters that applied to our department.
My co-workers were like family, we all knew how each other worked and respected one another.
Keeping awake at night, but a lot of coffee did the trick.
It was always busy, the relationship with co-workers was great and  so was it with Drivers, Team Leaders and Management .

No doubt you’re able to do the work however the work environment is tiring and feels pointless. You have to work fast you have to work hard and it’s the same routine over and over. No kidding I’m 20 and I worked out but carrying over 300 heavy unusually shaped boxes is taxing. 24 minute breaks sound ok, but truly not enough as you have to use about 8 of those minutes walking to and from the work area. 95% productivity is where they want you to reach after 3 months, but hitting that consistently? It’s real tough. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this job but if you’re trying to improve your discipline, this is a great way to do that I guess. I have a better understanding of the labour that people in other countries go through and my empathy has gone through the roof

Work paid well but that was about it, yeah some of the people who worked there were okay on a day to day basis but the job didn't offer much more than that. People looked like they were zombies, I felt like I could slack off the whole day and not get in trouble at all and in my eyes unless you were cheating the "proper" ways of doing your job there was no way you were going to get an advancement in that warehouse.

This place is great for hardworking people, if you can't keep up however, there is no mercy for you at this place. Top rate is really reasonable and for the most part the people are fairly decent. Very repetitive work and strict safety guidelines. Do not waste your time here if you are not going to put in the effort as they will walk you out in the first 6 weeks.

I started early every day at 7 and worked 6 days a week. It was very tiring doing physical work to load pallets with the boxes. Doing the work was fine for me, but having to talk to managers when problems arose was the worst part about the job. They would always be rude to me in any way possible and give me a hard time. The pay was good so I had a reason to stay longer, but eventually I quit.

Gonna keep it 100 the only thing really good about this place is the pay and your other co-workers. Very fast environment, if you get hired on you get a pay raise I think ever 500hours so that's a plus.

It's too physical to work to this company.You need to lift different sizes of boxes and the weight  are ranging to 50kilos up.And I need to arranged the boxes in the pallet accordingly with time pressure.

I was a picker here for multiple periods of time. They provide great pay and good training but the work environment is a little toxic and very very face paced. This can cause accidents and stress which is worrying at times.

It was a good place to work. People tried to maintain a good attitude. It was clean as well. I liked that the faster you work the more money you make and I might go back for another temp contract.

all the trucks are in horrible working condition with the aliment off or the tires vibrating. you have to break the rules to meet expiation witch means its an accident waiting to happen.
