Well, a work day would begin like most, early and fresh start. I've learnt that once your clock starts you should, not only, being completely focused on your duties but prepared for work that requires proper preparation.

Constructive criticism is encouraged. Criticism is not. 

I, personally, like to find the positive in everyone i talk to. if a situation with my previous co-workers arose where they begin to instigate, I would not thrive, I would do my best to alleviate the problem.

The hardest part of working for Atlas Van Lines was the hours. I expect to get the job done even if that meant staying longer. It became to extensive and consistent, and became a daily occurrence, therefor, played a small role in my departure. Lack of life.

Now, the most enjoyable part of my previous job was on a bright and sunny day, my co-worker and I would prep the truck(positively), have an energy drink ready and work like machines(positively). I enjoyed some days where the independent work balanced with the sociable work. Fun days.

At Atlas Van Lines I learned many things about the fast-pace of the working world.  I have known for years that I wanted to be in some type of office environment where I had consistent hours and a known role.  In a typical day, I would be helping the operations side of the company organize its shipments as well as help the truck drivers plan their routes to the highest efficiency.  Through this business I learned how to better use Microsoft Excel, as well as custom programs that are specific to the company.  For me, the only negative of the job was that the personalities in the room that I worked in did not match my own personality which made me feel isolated.

Working with Atlas Van Lines has taught me many skill sets and with this firm I have gained tremendous responsibility.My morals and ethical views have been expanded and have full understanding of what a stressful situation can bring out :).Im a very hardworking individual and I have come to realize I work best under pressure in a fast paced environment. I thrive working with others and in a team, I love people. Im a people person and quite charismatic. 

During my many years with Atlas I have maintained many different titles and roles.I have thrived and survived, I have been most successful in my current position of Sales Manager.

A typical day at work in the revenue department was going through files and seeing if the required documentation was in order and if it wasn't then my duty was to contact the appropriate people or companies/agencies to obtain this documentation. Management was absolutely great and my co workers were even better! The hardest part of the job was leaving it when my contract expired.

I have enjoyed working at Atlas, the jobs I have been assigned to have taught me a variety of skills I will be able to take with me.  The group of people I have worked with are wonderful, I have made lifelong friends.

Very hard work moving furniture all day. Very long hours and sometimes way from your family and friends for extended periods of time. Great way to stay in good shape but not a lot of room for advancement unless you want to drive AZ.

I did enjoy working for Atlas, Got to meet some great people and see a lot of Canada. I learned some great life skills and professional skills. The only issue is you are away from home and family for long periods of time. And no guaranteed pay or benefits.

this job is not for everyone! carrying heavy weight up and down stairs all day will usually scare people away. If this is for you,then its a great career. room for advancement,great pay etc

long hours carrying object from house to trailer, packing items into boxes, working fast, have time deadlines, working with 2-3 people communication is key

Great place to work. Staff and co-workers were all professional and competent. Travelled everywhere in North America. Met countless people and made many friends.
