Took the job for way lower pay than I would usually take because they said they had alot of work and it was just machine operating. Had issues with family at the start and they said it was fine and then was laid off soon after for "lack" of work. The supervisor I worked for was a a tool that I am sure was sabotaging my work stuff. The place was a gong show in the yard such a unorganized area. Cleaned it all up for them to let me go soon after. Was exposed to a guy that was around someone with covid and they didn't even take it as a big deal and weren't even going to name the guy. Overall there was one guy I worked with that imo should have been the supervisor cause he had way more knowledge and was very positive. The training was horrible they didn't even have faith in their own load patterns. Honestly I would stay far away from this place if you want anything with decent pay and job security. Other than the one guy and one other girl as well as the office manager this place is a mess. Not sure what the safety guy does either other than walk around chatting with everyone. The yard was littered with tripping hazards and nails sticking out of boards. But they will tell you to not drive over them even though 90% of the stuff is hidden under dirt lol. Like others have said management is non existent and overall pretty useless. Stay far away from here please.

management has no idea how to run a company.They are to cheap to spend money on equipment and fix things properly, only believe in tempory fixes. Dangerous and unsafe work environment because operators have no formal training on any equipment. No communication.Seen operators cut locks off and start up locked out equipment. More damage to the equipment is done, rather than production.steady work pace as a mechanic, because nothing is ever fixed correctly and operator errors cause alot of damge. below average pay

Seasonal job
If weather is to cold or to wet like this last summer there are no hours.
We shut down every winter and can be down from October to April if it's a very cold year.
Management claims to take safety seriously but it is only for show when there is a safety coordinator on site.
Owner/ higher ups don't even wear REQUIRED  PPE!
High pressure for constant high number output on unmaintained outdated machinery.
Even if you work hard and break output records you are never recognized or even thanked for your hard work.
Bullying is allowed as long as you work on the favored AM shift.

not hard work at all for what ever positon they out u in. I learned a lot from working in a plant and being promoted to shipping and receiving .management is what sucked there it was very in organized and promised stuff that they cant keep . but some promises they did keep . the workplace was vey dusty in the summer and covered in peat moss very day sucked even when your running equipment . its a job someone would have to have patience for that's for sure and the most enjoyable about the job is get to go home everyday

Out dated machinery.
Will send you to pull weed by hand out in 28°c plus for 8hrs straight, even though have two weed wackers.
Lazy Millwrights that would rather wait for large damages then monitor and prevent down time.
Poor management, people get forced into positions they dont want.
Management is eager to place blame on production staff instead of looking to fix/solve the problem.
High turn over due to reasons about or poor attitude from management.
Do NOT recommend working at this facility.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Always room to learn and grow. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There wasn't any really. I worked away not at the plant. We were always on the move opening up new bogs and reclaiming. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Awesome! Great group of people to work with and great team atmosphere!


What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Always doing something different!

Management is all very new to their positions and no one has a clue what they are doing. Can't get any direction or training. Just "I don't care what you do" responses when asking for help from Management. The staff regularly called in and we worked very understaffed most days. 

If you want a job where no one cares what you do and you want to call in often, this is the job for you! 

Revolving door. Witnessed multiple people come and go, management / front end was obtuse and were incapable of communicating / listening to concerns that affected day to day, and we were crippled with the same issues repeatedly.

After being denied a significant pay raise ( I was not going to stay for any less) I quit.

My coworkers were the best part of the job. One in particular. Management was unfair, unpredictable, impossible to please. Work conditions were very cold, muddy, and very uncomfortable. I would not recommend working there if given a choice.  Not a good company to work for, they do not care about the welfare of their employees at ALL.

 it sad I am very sad about what they do to everyone and me when is not busy we get lay off the most longer people working in there including me are get lay off and isn't fair of how they treat us so they just use people  I am felling I am nothing for them even I do learning and practicing but they are not see because
