I worked here as a co-op student and then as a permanent employee for 10 years. I was extremely lucky and got placed under some great folks that were willing to train me and answer questions when needed. My other junior colleagues were not as lucky and got stuck doing the same tasks for years on end. This was the case for 90% of juniors. What this meant is the company was filled with seniors that were excellent at one particular task, but had no sense of the bigger picture. This made team work awkward and ineffective. I got the sense that this was done intentionally to maximize the hours billed to a client and to render employees unemployable outside of the company.

Pay for senior consultants and specialists is industry average, but junior/intermediate pay is laughably low and more Inline with that of a secretary. The company is pretty diversified so the recession did not hit the company as hard as other places. They leveraged the economic situation to the max by implementing pay cuts and freezing wages. It was most likely done to offset the costs of a failed office in India that they tried setting up. Apparently clients were charged out at canadian labor rates for work done overseas.

The technical and support staff were all wonderful people and it was a great company in that regard. Unfortunately, senior managements profit earning philosophy was based on taking advantage of employees and clients.

If you're a junior, don't stick around after you get your P.eng. Good place to get your foot in the door, not good for the long term. Also good if you're a senior contractor.

 I was told at the interview by the Manager that there was no office politics whatsoever. That could not be further from the truth. This person just had their head in the sand most of the time. The stress was pretty bad at this job, and there is no human resources to speak of. Management comes off at as being extremely unbalanced at times, and the Sr. Management spend time and money making themselves popular, and not actually working. A really bad experience. Not a growth experience whatsoever. I would not recommend working here at all.

I worked part-time for this company from home. Was also a stay at home Mom to my baby. Mostly worked with my co-workers and project managers through e-mail and phone calls. Both managers and co-workers were very helpful when needed. The hardest part of the job was working from home and not being able to work in person with your co-workers and project managers. The most enjoyable part of this job was that it was flexible as long as I reached the project deadlines.

Autopro provided a great work environment with a close knit company culture. People from different branches, despite having met each other, knew each other very well. There would often be times where everyone went out for group lunches or after work drinks. The management team at Autopro was very efficient and great to their employees.

The management in the Calgary office is great and the people who in Calgary are amazing. The corporate management are not great. They seem to not care about the staff. 

If you are on the billable side of the company, you need to know if you do not have billable hours you will not be paid. They will not put you on overhead.

Quality and Integrity is the order of business at this firm.
There is a great deal of emphasis on earning repeat business from clients through providing value and dependability.

Overall an excellent place to work.

Culturally diverse place to work with reasonable benifits.
A little light on formal training, but great place for a motivated self-learner.
People are great.
Management is a little short-sighted and numbers-focused.

Worked at Autopro for four months. Everyone there is very helpful during on boarding. Work life balance is achieved at Autopro. I can't speak to how the company operates since being bought by M Cloud.

Everyone wanted me to learn new skills (not even pertaining to the job) and gave me tips and suggestions. The people were very friendly.
