Has become a very bad work environment over the last few year. Managers do not care about employees mental health and you are treated as a number not a person unless you get in close with management. They will make Temps do 2 jobs and do not rotate even at request due to fatigue/repetitive injury. Less brake for an 8 hour shift than they give mcdonalds employee. They give the very minimum have recently clawed back our benefits unless you want to pay extra and tricked everyone into thinking nothing changed.  No pension. Profit sharing is terrible as lately they are barely making any money it seems. No support from management for new employees and are visibly angry when you ask questions to help understand. No job security for the first year at all and after that if they target you will kick you out the door without warning

When I started here, Autosystems was a "family" driven work environment with all employees. Now, after 18yrs, the only atmosphere here is that you are a number, you are very expendable and if your superiors dont like you, you get to walk around with a target on your back.
Same management team running the place today as 18yrs ago. Machinery is obsolete and fixing them after they breakdown is stressfull after being bullied by Supervisors and Dept Heads for downtime. 
Not a career here. Not for everyone. The Automotive Industry is a cutthroat environment ran by bullies....applicant beware.

Employee turnover is very high, most people have been with the company less than a year. This is in multiple levels of the company not just the regular production associates. HR on average have been with the company for 1-2 years and almost 1/2 of them on the lower end of that. The only people that seem to stick around are the management team that promotes each other up the ladder. 

Every decision seems to be at the expense of the worker.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I was a temp there and there is so much favoritism and game playing there. Some people can stand around on their phones and others work their butts off. Management is terrible there. There is no teamwork.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management is unfair. Expect alot from some ans overlook other's laziness.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Its terrible . Backstabbers and high school or hick mentality.

Enjoyed working for Auto-systems, the people where very friendly and easy to work with. overtime was always available as long as you worked hard during your shift. Punctuality is key to move up in the company and to receive offer for overtime hours. Would work there again in a heartbeat as the job suits my families needs .

I operated various presses, loaded and unloaded metalizers, and inspected automotive parts for interior and exterior appications.

I also worked at different stations on different assembly lines.  

I did the required daily housekeeping duties.

Pay is up to 24 an hour. Everyone complains that’s to low.  So many ppl in town give this place a bad name cause they litterally can’t hack it.  Ya you work 6 days a week a lot.  It’s a job. Overtime pay is great.  Bennifits are amazing. Great rrsp plans. I’ve been there 20 years. All the other reviews are from people who just didn’t want to work. 

All in all I actually enjoyed working here. The day shift was great, the people I worked with were great, supervisor was a funny guy. The only thing for me was that because I was a temp. I wasn't guaranteed hours and the pay was lower than if would've been if I were hired as full time.

Although I'm getting older they gave me a job. Some days my back was sore and my hands and my wrists. Good breaks, as often as you needed them. Higher pay would be nice.

Workers are great. There is a few of Management that shouldn't be there. Shift work makes for no regular sleep. Short staffed always. Way too hot. No heat breaks for forklift operators
