a most typical day at work is the assembly lines running smoothly and reaching our goals in percentage of work productions and engines we push out
I've learned every station inside this factory being a floater and find that this position is great
management can and has been very terrible in the past on numerous occasions to the point where a problem that arose was exposed all over social media and news reports became a part of the protest that the employees took part in 
co-workers can be great and some can be different. overall I think most are able to work as a team 
hardest part of the job would be trying to get approved for days off when we work a 6 day week mandatory,  and dealing with Human resources 
most enjoyable part of the job I find is being a floater because this position allows me to be constantly busy, and allows to me develop great multi-tasking skills, and able to communicate with a lot of co-workers through the night

Extreme favoritism and you could o a year without a sick day call in once and without a doctor’s note you get wrote up. In a factory of about 450 they have the highest turnover rate I have ever seen at around $21 an hour because of the treatment of the employees. People were virtually collapsing from the heat the one summer but no heat breaks while Cami across the road who we were supplying were working 30-40 minutes and then getting 30-40 minute heat breaks it was so hot. Serious injuries happened on an almost daily basis, and the worst thing is we paid union dues and in most cases the union would simply turn their back on you and let you fight your own battles. Let me be clear about one thing, everything I have said does necessarily involve me, but I seen it or I heard about it daily from co workers.

Typically the day was easy, except in the beginning when you are learning the ropes and are thrown a lot of information at once. With experience, learning new areas becomes much easier (after the first 2 months, I was able to learn new stations much more quickly than I could in the first 2 months). Overtime was readily supplied, except after shut down. If you are a student, I would recommend logging in as many hours as possible before shutdown so you can make up for the 2 weeks off. Other than that, it's a good place to work for manufacturing experience. I worked on day shift, which is filled with people who don't know what they are doing with their life and are fairly grumpy, but other shifts have younger more chipper people.

If you work hard you can make a lot of money due to overtime. hard to work your way up unless if you are a drinking buddy. been working there for 3 years as a tpt and never got my shirts. made a lot of money though working overtime, 60 hours you can make 900-1000 dollars per week. If management does not like you they will try to get you fired or try to find a way for you to quick. It is easy to make management mad. if you don't know a station they send you to, and look at them the wrong way.

With my past experiences, I have found that I enjoy people. I like knowing what I am going to do every day.  I have my routine. It is nice to have some sort of change also. I found over time since working with people all day, how people interact with others.  Some can be quite pleasant and others just there to do there work.  The hardest part was in some jobs not a lot learning more.  Focusing on the same thing over and over.   The most enjoyable was the interacting with people.

I worked in many areas and did many different tasks which made routines interesting and not boring   Moved all Material Products from one building to another on my own  successfully  and to the surprise of management.   Managed the Timing Chain swap 
Went to Toyota to supervise the sorting of parts for the line at the request of a sister company in Japan.  I was given lots of responsibility and I would liked to have stayed longer

A very welcoming entrance to work, whenever the siren goes off then you suddenly know its time for business. Sometimes production is slow but whenever production is up you feel the heat burning and it actually makes you feel like you're doing something and not just hanging around watching the time go buy.

not for me.The factory is hiring people every month as most people do not stay very long ,it has a revolving door and had three H.R  girls quit in a 9 month time line ,only then hired two woman to do the job.not a good track record .the good people working there can only look at the poor leadership and shake the heads as they will not change for the better.Its sad to see.

poorly managed with people that have no regard for the associates.  No fresh air or air circulation. Poisonous atmosphere when it was Autrans, which is now Butcher so maybe things will get  better. Benefits are great and the pay is fair, the work is repetitive and some quite strenuous.

In my almost 7 years of working for this company we have never been told of a job well done. If we caught an error in house in our quality we were not thanked.  There was no morale, no uplifting morning speeches.  It was all you don't do this right, work harder, your numbers are terrible.  A completely degrading place where you were only a number.
