Innovation or building IP is tough since this is a sales driven organisation and investment is only opportunist (building IP when customer is willing to pay for it)

Various expertise in house (software, FPGa, mechanical electrical. 
Possibility to move from location to another one for software developer mainly.

Company has been acquiring other companies in the world very aggressively. Fast pace technology company, big league clients at the cutting edge of technology, expert colleagues and opportunities to travel. Lack of direction in management, poor communication from leadership team and a lot of uncertainty for the future.

Over all it was very good and learning experience. I had great opportunities to learn from every team member. I found the company where everyone respects everyone and given full liberty to share your ideas for improvements and it was really friendly environment.

A fast paced environment, with a lot of changes going on, both technological and managerial. Bilingual environment, highly specialized resources, a lot of emphasis is put on business processes and systems.

Situated in the very popular old port of Montreal, Averna have many interesting projects. I learned many things about cable and Record and playback system with very talented people. I recommend working for Averna.

I really enjoyed working in Averna, every one was a great team player. Company takecare employees, yes they provide occasional free lunches.

Company growing with job stability but seems to me that we are understaffed as we are often pulled into emergency projects.

Was a good place to work.I would recommend it to any one who is looking to gain experience and to then get another job.
