The working hours are long, with no overtime pay. The workplace environment is unhealthy, and the pay is low. Poor planning often leads to late deliveries. Employees are hired for one role but end up doing the work of three. Despite working my magic and saving the company thousands of dollars daily, the rewards are minimal. The leadership lacks experience and provides no guidance. There are many false promises, especially when you try to leave, just to keep you on board. The owner repeatedly promised I would manage the Shipping and QC departments, but it never happened. Think twice before committing to this company long-term. The management is difficult to work with, leading to frequent quarrels and heated meetings. The boss insults employees openly, creating a fearful atmosphere. There is no growth for employees, only empty promises of promotions that never materialize. 

Advice to Leadership: Maintain professionalism and avoid making false promises about promotions. When someone decides to quit, refrain from making additional empty promises. Ensure overtime is paid and respect employees’ time outside of working hours. Stop offering promotions as a way to get extra work done without proper compensation.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Horrible management. Absolutely unprofessional HR, who is not helping but only gossiping and creating the conflict inside the organization. You’re coming for one position but having the responsibilities of at least four. Staying late all the time, but for 20-30 minutes, but for 2-3 hours. And it’s not payed. Everything is super unorganized, some people at the office are incompetent. You’re constantly running and fixing problems, which are occurring because of unprofessionalism of other office workers.  

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
People at the shop are very nice and cool. Office is the complete opposite. Boss is acting like a child. You’re stressed all the time

I felt really lucky to work for Avion Technologies Inc. The boss was friendly and but professional, and so are the rest of the staff. It's a very professional environment but there are also times for levity and casual banter.
The staff, likewise are some of the hardest, most intelligent people you’d ever have the privilege of working for. Under pressure they always shine. 
If it wasn’t for the distance that I had to travel, I would’ve stayed there. As it stands, we parted on great terms. Truly a fun place to work!

I worked there are a senior QA and CMM programmer. The owner and his son don't treat us nicely, They only care about money. No benefits.
Most of people working there are new Indian because the company is own by an Indian. They have to choice but to work there for first Canadian experience. The owner know this so they take advantage of this and treat them very bad.

My time there was a battle,  having to deal with a father and son owned business.  I was hired to run the plant but had no authority to make a discussion.  I will have a meeting with the son and father and the 2 will side off in heated arguments in there language. One of the worse place I ever worked at.

Poor Man-Management and no help from colleagues. The manager of the engineering department is incompetent and doesn’t know how to explain things but acts pretentious. It’s a small company that’s good enough only if you’re starting your career in the manufacturing industry.

Deadline oriented, fast paced,  need to know how to multi task and set job priorities.  Best for those that can work independently  with little supervision. Good opportunities to move up and learn new skills.

It’s a contract manufacturing company that’s something to consider while applying for a role at Avion. My tenure was short so I can not really judge the company. 
HR manager and V.P are quite supportive and are always available if you need help.

Avion Technologies Inc. had provided a very productive work environment and assisted in enhancing my skills in communication over the phone as well as face to face confrontation.

Avion has poor management from top to bottom. No training given, no help from the management or leads.Poor work culture and they harass there employees. Employees concern or issues would never be listened to.
