I work for this company for 4 years I must say that this company treat their employees with no respect they do not care about your health and your well-being. I had injured my back through the company and they did not want to go through wsib nor do they want to give me modified duties. I had to get stitches in my hand and they refused to give me a day off to heal before coming back they made me come back to regular duties and pushed and yelled at me when I wasn't able to fulfill all duties successfully due to injury. I have known many people who have worked with me and are still at the company they get treated like they're worthless it's not about the money but about the professional people that they have in that company that do not know how to manage nor speak to their employees. If this company was to have a proper HR department proper supervisors and floor managers that treated their employees with respect with kindness and overall to promote their employees to be better the company would run a lot smoother. The fact that one week you're working five days the next week you're down to only working 3 Days shows this company is not full time and is unable to bring in customers due to their employees not doing a proper job because they feel unappreciated.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Aya on a crucial project, and I must say that their professionalism and dedication exceeded my expectations. From the onset, the team displayed a strong commitment to understanding our objectives and delivering exceptional results.

Their attention to detail and quality was evident throughout the project, and their proactive approach to problem-solving was impressive. The team at Aya demonstrated excellent communication skills, ensuring that we were always on the same page and that the project moved forward seamlessly.

AYA Kitchen & Bath is a great cabinet making company to work for. Management is excellent and ensure that employees are treated fairly and with respect. The salaries are fairly low for machinists and general labor especially considering the areas cost of living however a decent benefit package helps to offset some of this sting. 

I have seen that AYA prefers to hire internally where possible. This means that employees who work hard and put in the time will have opportunity for advancement when it is available. The atmosphere is fairly laid back and expectations for how much work you will need to complete in a day are very reasonable. 

One downside is that in previous years when business has slowed some weeks were cut down to 32 hours. Depending on the department occasional overtime may also required. For the most part however the company strives to give everyone a 40 hour week and a strong work/life balance.

Going to work and know what you need to do ,taking  time to make sure you duty is complete i learn new way everyday and how to make things better  the upper hand always take it away, the management is ok they just have realize they roll and the value of the employees who completed the worki think they leave a lot of room for improvement work !place culture is  diverse withouts prejudice  it’s not how long you work but knowing how to work without prejudices ! that is. the hardest part of the job, .is when someone knows what to do, but they’re being selfish because they don’t wanna lose their job or a position the most enjoyable part of the job is the Townhall meetings and the Christmas parties along with the bbq lunch 

People are allowed to NOT work - i.e. 30 minute bathroom breaks, leaving work for others (me), people stop working with hour left in their shift - management doesn't care. I complained about day shift and paid for it. They don't like anybody who speaks up.

Laid off, without a warning first.    Other people, multiple warnings and still there.

One person does something questionable, no problem.  I do it, it's suddenly a problem.  Incompetent management.  If you keep your head down, and don't say or do anything they might not like, might pay your bills for a while. 

Plenty of room for growth. Internal job posting gives preference to current employees. Employees input is always welcome. Decent start pay rate. $1 night shift premium. It can get dusty, noisy in some department and dirty during cleaning especially in finishing department. But it is manageable since protective goggles, earplugs, masks and other supplies are provided by company. 
Showing that you can work as a team and willingness to cross train  can play a great part in future advancement.

Supervised carpenters installations. At new homes for Great Gulf, Mintos and other developers or contractors. Must of the time you will be in the road to get to the sites. Minor Deficiencies in the install will be taking care of right away at site inspection. Mayor deficiencies will be dealt with the installer like doors to be replace or not complete installation.

Everyday my manager told me things like "you're doing great! Great work!". But then the next day they fired me. Great place to work but I didn't feel support from manager. My manager did not give clear deadlines, kind of evasive when I asked something. There is more like straight vertical management than horizontal, so your voice is not really listened.

High turn around rate. Saw people get fired for others mistakes or I should say others laziness. Take on too much work but don't have enough designers which then meant you had to deal with customers waiting on information or calls. Not enough training for individuals. SOME management don't care who you are, barely know your name or want to take the time to get to know you.

Job itself is very confusing... alot of politics in this department. Kind of funny my first day all the breaks were set time and everyone in the department went into cliques and sat together. Real benefit is the pay aside from that job is super confusing. Project Coordination is not figuring out and guessing what to do. The person who trained me felt forced lol.
