Working within the warehouse centre as an advisor to indoor and outdoor materials, Ordering of new stock and pricing of new materials using hand held sap systems, operating forklift vehicle or portable pallet truck for the delivery of new stock, Stock replenishment on various shift patterns to ensure that all shelves were at full capacity in accordance to system display and layout before and after each shift pattern and working in accordance to company policy and procedure ensuring that all members of staff were operating at maximum efficiency, responsible for the delivery of materials to customer requirements, Advising and offering support to customers while retaining repeat custom, on hand to assist were ever possible or direct to various locations within the store, excellent customer relation skills and I was complimented on my tact and diplomacy in helping to resolve issues.

learned loads ever day when working here there was always loads to do. my co workers where great all got on very well. wouldn't say there was a place for me to grow in the company. I enjoyed working here but felt I had to move on to something different and try my skills in something else.

Typical day was spent running the front of store checkouts, customer service desk and the running of cash office as well as helping customers make the right decisions on products they were buying.  Co workers were awesome to work with and all departments helped out each other.

I worked here for a number of years, while I was at High School then University. It was an enjoyable work environment in general that allowed me to have interaction with customers on a face to face basis. It improved my customer service skills and my sales delivery skills.

Great company to work for, Amazing colleagues, Gained lots of experience and licences when working with company. Unfortunately my position was made redundant ending my career after approximately 23 years, as nightshift is no longer workable at b and q due to expense.

on a day to day basis i was dealing with alot of customers, all of diffrent ages. Also my day concurred of picking stock for custmoer orders and also replenisment filling up shelfs when empty and tidying my surrounding department.

Closed down now so no point giving feedback. Had the potential to be a big player but failed to invest in people and product and is now defunct as an installation service provider. Why?

I enjoy my time there until the new store manager change everything and turn us to zombie. The lovely people there left and store now become boring. Nice place to work and meet new people.

pretty good job with decent pay, training opportunities and most of the staff are friendly, easy going enough with good holidays and managers work with your schedule 

Great place to work, they managers and supervisors were very helpful. Work was hard but very rewarding and the rate of pay was inline with others in the same sector
