Pros- 
-nice Tractors & trailers
-pay is decent (not great)
-tons of work if you want it 
-friendly enough people 
-management completely hands off



Cons

- Drivers go over their hours almost every day & run shady logs.
- Drivers working 80+hour work weeks 
-you have no say or control as to if you can stay late... it's expected.15-17 hours in a day was common 
-overtime only paid after you've worked a 60 hour work week.
-paid once a month
-management was way over their heads & it was embarrassingly evident. For such a large organization but the boss goes home at 4:00 & there's no night supervisor. You're on you're own. 
-horrible communication, no schedule for when you're expected to work or what the holiday schedule is...
-no rules of any sort or training  for safety. It's so laid back it's scary. Pro/con I guess? 

Have a family? No thanks.

Reimer is family owned and operated. Their equipment was top of the line, and they took great pride in their appearance.  Customer service was priority. Employees were treated fairly. They pay very well and often gave bonuses for a job well done.  Work/home life balance is typical for the trucking industry.  Long hours, especially on Fridays.  Overall, a great place to work and a great experience.

Sometimes waiting for loads, but paid by the hour!

It was nice to have a full time mechanic and have any little things fixed on the trucks right away!
There was lots of new things to learn when delivering to farms, especially bio-security and paperwork.

I enjoyed putting the "puzzle pieces together" of dispatch and working with all the different people from different departments. The variety of working in the office, in the mill , loading or driving trucks. The trucks are kept well and the staff are professional and courteous.

They don’t want drivers to succeed in life! All he does is look for reasons to fire a person! Dealing with the drivers at Sab Appointment is the hardest part of the job?

This company does not care about your safety or the laws. They force you to work 17 hrs a day, the minute you raise a concern they shut you down, and tell you that’s the way it is. Poorly managed but they pay ok, if you don’t care about safety or DOT regulations then maybe this is the job for you.

Loved the job, everyone was awesome to work with. I learned lots and proved to myself that i could do the job having no previous trucking experience. Would go back in a heart beat.

Not too much to say other than this place was a great place to work. Some minor management issues but overall a good company. Nice trucks and usually home each night. Good wages.

Great company to work for and great people to work with. Good variety of work. There is night shift and day shift. Opportunity to advance if you are willing to put some extra effort in.

Great job but the manager is in way over his head and doesn't care as long as he leaves every day at 4:00. Get a new manager and this place will be much better.
