What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Caring culture from top down as far as financial and personal health is concerned.  Transparency in everything from company policies and current developments within the organization. Townhall meetings and virtual connections keep everyone informed. Participation is endouraged.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Greeting staff and casino patrons throughout the day and linstening to concerns through personal interactions. Keeping updated with day-to-day operations through reading emails and huddles within the team.

Focus on integrity, respect, and results.
Fairly high turn-over rate after years of minimal turn-over. 
Hire the best the market has to offer, all the "fat" has been burned off.
Lots of really good people, two office locations / different culture across the offices.

Workload is significant, but stimulating.
Highly regulated, lots of 3rd party/ public facing audits.

BCLC so far has been a great place to work. The culture promotes professional development and personal growth, as well as encouraging wellness, social, and work-life balance. My day-to-day job is very fulfilling; I feel confident in my duties as part of collaborative and supportive team. I am busy without being overwhelmed. Management is very open to communication and innovation, and constantly keeps employees in the loop of what is happening with the corporation as a whole.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Great teams and lots of competent people to work with.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
When I worked on-site, finding a desk as a contractor was challenging, and what I did find was often cramped and in a noisy area. However, now that I work 100% remotely, that's no longer an issue.

I did not know what to expect when I came into work everyday.  Who was I going to interview and what game did this person or group win on?  I was fortunate to have worked here for 17 years and at the end of each day I felt like I had won along with the actual winners.  

A friendly and fun job, selling and talking with customers. The management were nice to work for. Not much money to be made though. Position is best suited for students or retired people looking to make some extra income.

Staff retention is a significant problem. All the good people are leaving due to non-competitive salary rates and dysfunctional HR leadership and management decisions.

I really like the workplace culture. While BCLC has a fun atmosphere, depending on which area of the business you work for, there is very limited career advancement opportunities.
