Many skilled people, good mentorship.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Live traffic at times was a challenge even with our outstanding traffic control support.



What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
There were solid teams who looked out for one another & collaborated well.  Yet there were some workers in management roles that led unhealthy work practices. Healthy communication including big picture work plans would have been very effective for all plus this practice would have improved our safety culture.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Versatile tasks which was great.  
The established & supported little boys club was often stressful. Most of us made the best of what we had & gave our tasks 100% daily.

Be prepared to do a task only for it to be in the wrong location or have a bunch of conflicts of interest so that you can’t use it in the designed location. This happens on a day to day basis. 

It is very frustrating at most times but the pay is good enough to keep you around.

Management only plans ahead one day at a time or sometimes two days.

Workplace culture is filled with an environment that is frustrated with their management and therefore mostly unhappy.

Hardest part of the job is doing the task you were given to do at the beginning of day only to be told it’s not going to work their anymore and to fill the hole back in, then come back and re-do it anyways.

Unfortunately the Most enjoyable part of the job is the money.

I wouldn’t recommend applying at this organization for quite some time as they need a lot of growth and structure…. And to fix that ever so high turn over !! I’ve never seen anything like it. It has potential perhaps one day but I would steer clear as you have very young managers, still learning the ropes and the skills they need to do their job.  Wont provide clear direction on important work situations or help with your career growth. People in high up positions will decide they do not like you and ignore you in the office yet they talk about promoting a good culture. You’ll only get anywhere if you are friends with the executives.

Running out of work. The next contract.

Very old school. No work life balance

Different every day. Could be long could be short

Lack of qualified people to work with others who would not do there jobs . No accountability

Laid back and no pressure and very good safety training

BCIB is a great place to work. Management encourage their teams to be productive and to grow. The fast paced environment ensures no day is the same, and the opportunities for learning and growth are continuous. It is not only the work, but the people too. The culture in the corporate office makes the work day enjoyable and fulfilling. 

Great people to work with. Very respectful place to work. Privacy and confidentiality is a priority to the company and its employees. They made me feel welcome to the project and a significant member of the team. Would not hesitate to work again with them. 

Definitely a fair and great idea for the path forward in life . Might need som more experienced workers but with time the knowledge will come and I think might be the best company to work for as long as the prime contractor isn’t mismanaging the job 

The management   and employer  should  to be  , more  good  person  with  the employees.they are racism. Human  resources personnel should be  more dedicated  to the treatment the employe receives. 

There is no managerial support. They've all become self absorbed in becoming repreantitive of a social idealogy posturing for who is the greater social justice warrior.

Additionally - you will earn a good salary and have good resources available you. Just don't expect upper management to support you.
