Badly managed company, has one of the worse names in the lighting industry. Management has inherited the company from people who seemed to know what they were doing but this was not passed down to this generation. Senior managers are never around, the other managers seem to spend their time worrying about their shares, the latest news on google or booking vacations than how the company is running. Hire/Fire seems to be the norm unless you are a from a small list of respected countries and religions., development of new products has stalled in favor of copying other companies products, this leads to insecurity of positions.

Collaborative environment with a strong focus on team work, the company really prides itself on being on top of design trends in the industry and takes great pride in their products.  Management and employees have a great relationship which creates an enjoyable work day.  Like any company there are challenges that occur, however this is when the best ideas are born.  Great central location that is close to Hwy 401 and subway line.

If you want to learn and have a decent work ethic you can do very well here. This is a manufacturing company that produces commercial architectural lighting products for the world market. Although there is a set product range there are thousands of variations...making the manufacturing a true art and the sales quite an interesting process. As a qualified engineer who emigrated to Canada a year ago, I started with an entry level role as a warehouse QC inspector and within 12 months I worked my way up to a role in the Purchasing Department.

Staff is friendly and welcoming, management is engaged and took to time to meet with me on my first day. Lots of opportunity for advancement with a progressive company which has plans for future growth. Product is well designed by skilled engineers and manufactured and assembled in house by trained production and assembly staff.

The company manufactures luxury lighting fixtures and has a great reputation in the market when it comes to quality and on time delivery. Its structure is lean and horizontal, which has been expanding due to the company growth. Most employees have been with the company for decades.

Fun group of people to work with.  Interesting projects and always a lot going on but respectful of work life balance.  A bit outside of the core of the city but only a five minute walk from the subway.  Potlucks are fun with so many cultures represented!
