What I learned:
1. Coordinates,executes and monitors all study activities to ensure conduct of clinical trials in accordance to study protocol, BPSI SOPs and/or Directives, ICH-GCPs and applicable regulatory guidelines CRCA
assists CRCs with Study related duties
2.Conducts protocol training for clinical research staff. Performs compliance check on subjects as applicable Reports Adverse Events and Serious Adverse Events to appropriate department(s)Supervises, administers and/or assists in a drug administration. Assists with dispensing, appropriate control,inventory, storage and record keeping of study drug(s). 
3. Maintains study files for each clinical trial and performs
detailed review of created and prepare by Study Preparation
Associates subject and study source documentation and/or CRFs, as
well as of completed Source Documents and CRFs
4. Participates indevelopment, revision and implementation of clinical, 
 general and other applicable SOPs, Directives and internal procedures as
required, ensuring consistency with GCP, regulatory, and/or Sponsor
requirements
5. Ensures the accuracy of the generated data in
accordance with protocols, ICH, GCP and applicable regulatory
agencies
6. Maintains adequate, accurate, complete and legible
records. Collaborates with QC and QA during audits and audit
7. Follow-ups Maintains current professional knowledge base of
clinical research methodologies and regulatory requirements (FDA,
TPD, etc.)
8.Participate in staff training and management

Biopharma Services Inc. is a contract research organization. Usually I'm drawing blood and performed ECG from the volunteers, then centrifuge the blood samples afterwards aliquoting the plasma and put them in the freezer. I've learned a lot of things such as the techniques, documentation, SOP and Protocol of the company. The management are equal opportunity and very considerate, so we have a good rapport to all my co-workers with multi-tasking and good team work player. The hardest part of the job is when you encountered a difficulty vein among the volunteers and missed the vein, they are getting upset and sometimes they swear, of course you don't need to argue with them , just understand maybe this is the adverse event of the drugs. I am enjoy every seconds or minutes of my job, because I love what I am doing and never get tired of it, no matter how short/long hours I've worked it doesn't matter as long as I'm performing my job well in a timely and professional manner.

Stay away. The hiring process is quick and easy, the problems start once you're on the job. It is such a toxic environment. There is a culture issue in this place. Colleagues speak their own language around you and about you right in front of your face. If you don't fit in during your first week you never will. The nurses are severely underpaid. Management doesn't do anything if you bring up concerns about the work environment. Hours are all over the place and often you are working 6 days a week. Many new hires complain and don't last more than a few months. They have a very high turnover rate. I'd advise against new grads starting here as you don't get to use many of your skills.  The training process is a mess and you are expected to read all emails even when you are off the clock. 

Have worked here for 10 years and the raise they gave is 10 cents every year. Benefits are good but you have to be fulltime. If you want to be a fulltime lab tech you have to be available 24/7. For a part timer, you have no guarantee if they give you hours. Most of the time for a whole week no or zero hours. If you only rely on this job for a living you will starve. 
Fulltime- 12 hours of work, part timer - 4 hours mostly or no hours.
They don’t care if you’ve been working for 10 years but if you’re not the bosses’ favourite, no schedule for you. 
They only remember you if they need people to fill the work load but if they don’t need you, they treat you as trash. 

For the past couple of years that I have worked here, I've learned that the flexibility is decent in terms of scheduling. Other than that, this company  sees its workers as slaves. Usually understaffed, pay is not good enough, no benefits and there is little to no raise (for the 3 years that I've worked here, I received a raise of less than $1 to my hourly wage). Job security and advancement is non-existent, favoritism is the only way to get a promotion. Nursing skills is not used to full extent as they have technicians do the work for them (ECGs, catheter insertion/blood draw). Overall, not a good place to work in for the long-term, or maybe not at all.

Biopharma is a very busy contract research organization, where a typical day starts with well organized, team oriented and results driven multitask clinical studies. Management and co-workers were very professional and cooperative. The hardest part of the job was to deal with serious adverse events when it happens. However, the clinic staffs were extensively trained to overcome any challenge. The most enjoyable part of the job was to review and interpret different types of study protocols.

Typical day at work was to log into the phones, and await inbound calls from potential subjects for drug testing.
Learned about SOPs and also edited many of them as my fluency in the English language proved beneficial to them.
Management and co-workers were both fantastic, as they were kind helpful, and as it was a small group, we were a team to the extreme.
Again, no part of the job was difficult really, apart from being very meticulous about registering the right people to the right studies based on medical history, etc.

My typical day at work is enjoying my job.  I have learned so much and have had new training ongoing. The culture is mixed so always learning about races and their country. I enjoy dealing with staff and my patients on a daily basis.  Hardest part of my job would be dealing with difficult patients but I have learned to stay calm and help them with their needs so they can be happy when leaving.

Manage the time between every draw blood at the subjects 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Sometime is stressful,  but good environmental and good teams 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
My typical day like is when with have bundling, everyone is helpful

Pros:
very flexible schedule, you can take days off if you want
coworkers are fun to work with
you learn about research in a CRO 
low stress environment
good to make some cash during college

Cons:
terrible upper management treats recruiters like slaves
below average hygiene (a mouse was once found under the desk)
terrible technique of panelling studies
no upward mobility

Bottom line: Do it for some time, then get out!
