Blanco is a great place to work so long as you are not in customer service. What was supposed to be a regular 9-5 job quickly turned into a nightmare as the volume of phone calls and emails increased without an increase in the number of customer service reps. Training was minimal and support virtually non-existent.  The inbound calls are back-to-back yet we also have to answer dozens of emails plus voicemails. The expectation is for all emails to be responded to within 24 hours and voicemails returned within the hour but if the call queue gets too long they freak out...it is completely unrealistic!  Management are a bunch of keyboard warriors who call out every little mistake which further adds to overall stress of the job. In the best of times this is a difficult job; with the current supply chain problems it has become impossible and customers have no mercy for you.  To say the work environment is toxic would be an understatement! The entire department has become a revolving door as people quit while the company refuses to increase headcount (but they always seem to have budget to hire in other departments). The only upside is the team I work with are amazing people who are unfortunately overworked and underappreciated. After more than 2 years, I've become burnt out and have begun planning my escape. I would not recommend working here unless you are extremely stress resistant and enjoy working lots of extra hours for free.


I worked as a bilingual customer service agent, let me tell you this is the worse place to work at. The management is terrible and there’s no work/life balance. I use to work through my breaks including lunch breaks and after work  just to catch up on emails/voicemails (we would receive over 80+ a day in our individual inboxes, as well they would also send additional emails from the general inbox). We were expected to answer over 50 +calls a day while also having to respond to all emails, we couldn’t be behind more than a day on emails. Also they would send us about 10 voicemails every two hours and we were expected to call them back within the hour while also having to answer the calls and respond to the emails at the same time. The work flow was beyond overwhelming. Management didn’t do anything to help manage the work load nor were they organized. I recently left that job and prior to me quitting, 2 other people have quit within the same year, that should be telling about the work environment. This job has caused me to go on sick leave due to extreme stress and anxiety. Do not work here, you’ll regret it!

Dealing with inept management whether it be supervisors, R&D,  or QA

The work environment on the production floor is soulless and robotic

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Work the machines, repeating the same process every twenty or so minutes. Some minor chatting with coworkers.

Terrible place everyone is competing and supervisors act like little girls sucking up to management its pathetic I couldn't stay there any longer I had to plan my escape. I am in a much better company, these guys seem as if they have it all together but when you start working there fulltime it's a shitshow. They dont care they wont advance you they hire someone outside before training you they have no communication skills and are all for their own benefit . Garbage company!

Upper management was wonderful and would listen to any concerns you had. Typical work day was desk job, but lots of internal interaction with all departments.  Blanco always tried to help employees with whatever they needed.

There was a lot of employee turnover in the years that I was there. Mostly firing so everyone was on edge as to who was going to be next. Difficult working without a president or solid management team, with direction coming from overseas.

Personally this was one of the best opportunities I've every had, my management was very supportive and allowed me to grow, I really do miss working here.  However due to corporate strategy, changes had to be made, which in hind sight turned into a blessing in disguise.

I had a really positive experience at Blanco. No complaints about working with my office staff colleagues. Distribution side and dealing with HQ in Germany were all very good experiences
