The day usually starts out with lining up my drivers with the days work with their daily schedules. Mornings are normally super busy, because there's also a line-up of trucks waiting to be weighed in to pick up their load of scrap steel to bring out of town. 

During the day, I take customer orders and determine what kind of service they require. I am responsible for all data entry for both divisions that I oversee. 

I am responsible for  AR accounts by processing  payments  and posting them to customer accounts. I create and manage new  customers accounts. I create invoices for payments received for the materials we sell, and I create and manage all customer invoices. 

I serve as front line supervisor to my drivers and handle all issues that may arise. 

I have learned new programs and I've honed in the skills I already possessed before working here. i.e. I've become more proficient at Excel. 

I get along well with my manager who I interact with on a daily basis. He's a great boss, who possesses an abundance of patience, care and empathy. 

I work with a great group of people. We're not only co-workers, we've become more like family. 

The hardest part of the job is trying to satisfy all of our customers needs when our equipment gets low. 

The thing I like best about this job would be my customers. I've built a great rapport with all of them and they are very appreciative of the service that I provide to them.

NEVER work for this company! They don’t care about their employees health, safety, or if you have a life outside this Mickey Mouse company. All they care about is making the all mighty dollar and don’t care what their employees have to do for them
WORST management I ever had to deal with. Their safety team don’t have a clue what thy are doing and go as far as lying to the MOL when they mess up on the job.
I have witnessed it on a few occasions with people admitting to being under the Influence on the job so instead of sending them for a drug test they are rushed off the job site with a bogus made up story of a family emergency so the company don’t look like a bunch of fall downs. This company is run by a couple of guys who are more worried about their hair gel than they are worried about the employees well being

Run as fast as you can Don't Go Near this company they're trying to make you sign letter stating if you quit or they let you go you owe them for the training airline tickets and hotel plus fees of your own wages that they have paid you be careful run Don't Go Near this company. they will fly you to Sudbury back and forth and take you away from your family for weeks on end

I was hired on as a labourer and was provided opportunity to become a vacuum truck operator, a water blaster and was even paid to go get professional driver training and get a DZ license. My wage always increased as I gained skills and took on more responsibility. Management helped me and supported me when I was dealing with problems at home. It is an organized and structured place to work

They were initially hesitant to allow me to bring my unicorn to work, but eventually relented.

Some people wear shirts that are too big. Some that are too small. But I got used to it.

Each pay cheque came with a crisp high five.

Lack of a team mascot should be addressed.

My family was eventually returned to me.

Never work for this company. 

They treat their employees like garbage. Management has no idea whats going on. They will hold a grudge on you if you tell them you cant work. They also are extremely cheap and almost never repair faulty equipment.

Worst job I ever had.

A nice group of people to work with.
Steady work until my layoff.
Somewhat disorganized and leaderless.
Management took little responsibility when problems or mistakes were occurred.

Worked at this company for a very long time. Very stressful place to be management is the worst and they hire anyone. Stay away they will lie to you treat you like complete garbage and there’s no schedule. So be prepared to give your life away to these degenerates. 

Don't waste your time, they will end up killing an employee at some point due to lack of safety and very poor management.  If they were to hire a sack of hammers, it would probably do better than the managers that are running the place now. I'd rather work for a sack of hammers.

I very much enjoy this job, it is fast pasted and hard working environment. I work full time employment and enjoy the crew that I work with, it is great experience and helpful for expanding job knowledge, I highly recommended it for those looking a challenging job.
