Everyday is different and some are repetitive admin tasks.  Really enjoy building great rapport with customer and providing exceptional customer experience.  Workplace culture is "yes" man or else you get left out.  Favoritism at "LARGE"!!! No jokes there about favoritism.  It doesn't matter how much you sell, they give it the most desired and favorite individuals. I certainly don't condone lying to customers, it goes against my integrity.  Some managers have no issues lying to customers and employees. This place oozes toxicity which has poisoned some people there.  There are only a few good people, but the rest drank the kool-aid.  Bad culture and poisoned environment.  

What is the best part of working at the company?
Some of the staff  are pleasant to work with. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Working with team members that dont do their job properly and they come to you to resolve the issue. Hiring some team members with little to no experience can prove its challenges often faced when issues come up. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Great moral for the most part but some staff can damage that culture with their attitudes and lack of respect at the workplace. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Typical day means i habe to hold it down as only one i can depend o. Is myself.

If you thinking of working here, think again. Lack of management, family owned, they treat you like you are expendable. They sale their cars with a huge hidden fees, pretty much you are guaranteed to being over charged.  Tiny show room and dirty washroom, disgusting coffee; pretty much a dealership that stuck in the 80's. Located in one of the lowest income area of GTA, actually not much people ever even heard of this dealership. Their car lot are a mess, new cars and used cars all park in the same lot. You can find garbage in cars, no matter they are new or used. Do not work here, there are much better dealerships up north within 30 mins of driving.

Since i was just a temporary coop student placed there for a few months my main objective was to experience a normal day of a people who work at a Toyota service department. on a normal day for me i would help technicians complete tasks and perform maintenance on vehicles. I loved working with everyone there, i got along very well with everyone. I understood how to get through the hard parts of working such as work stress such as finishing a task in time.

I was a parts truck driver lot attendant dealing trades going to pick cars up the auction washing cars detailing prep cars  for customers gassing up vehicles make sure they start by  starting them every day organizing the lot going the license office pick plates putting them on vehicles there’s more 

Lube technicians are required to do the basic fluid changes for the vehicle engine oil and transmission oil.
We are also required to do battery, tire and light bulb changes.
Working with technicians require us to do more advance services such as brake maintenance, brake replacements. Alignments, tire rotations, code reading, diagnosing are advanced services that are required as well.
Coworkers are friendly and helpful

After the ownership change, the dealership has changed for the better.  We want to be one of the best dealerships in the world, we want to be professional and provide the best customer service for all of our customers. Everyone is given a fair opportunity, with some of the best tools in the industry and training training training! Brimell Toyota and the Drive Auto Group are delivering on their promise to challenge the status quo

cons
-due to location of the dealership the jobs aren't that great to make hours as a tech. 
-buddy will just pay the 1hour diagnostic and bring it to their buddy's ABC auto down the street.
-tech rate is not up to par with other dealerships meanwhile shop rate goes up every year.
-not much employee appreciation, everyone is just a number in the end.

Some advisers tend to rush you on jobs because they either want to go home early or want to be competitive with others, overall not a bad place to work but bc of Covid hours has decreased a lot compared to few years back and management don’t care if can make your 80hrs per 2 week

Used to work here before it was bought out by Drive auto group. It was good then, im not sure now but few people stayed back from then. Management was good compare to other places. It was fun place to work at
