Good hours are available when there's work to be done, however -like many construction companies- the work slows down during winter. 
Most employees and foremen are decent people to work with. 
A major problem with the company is their lack of foresight in terms of job assignments on a daily basis - meaning it is customary as an employee to find out where, when, or even -if- you're working the next day via text message the evening prior.

I am wasting my brain working here. There is a large volume of mindless administrative duties to be done and I don't have time to expand my knowledge on customer issues. The company is owned by the US and they do not show any appreciation for their employees. Benefits are okay and pay is alright. There is no room for negotiating a raise. I am already being paid at least $5,000 less than the person who had my job before me, and I know I do a much better job. The workload is steadily increasing and nothing is changing on my end.

If you can get passing the entitlement of certain customers, the laziness of Co workers and lack of appreciation for hard work and helping out it's possible to have a decent experience.. You will never be praised for covering other shifts or pulling someone else's weight but you will be criticized for any mistakes you may encounter..

this was a concrete factory where we put orders together and ship them out. I learned how to work smart and not hard, the management was fair and understanding. They were very good at motivating everyone in order to get the job done. My co-workers were great we all got along and work great as a team.The hardest part of the job was attention to detail and the most enjoyable was seeing new people everyday.

Brock White provides a good opportunity to develop in a sales environment. The installation division was unique to our store in Calgary which provides services to our clients and assisted with the installation of Geo-products

You need to be in moderate shape to work in the yard but it's overall a great place to work. No room for being unsafe as you'll be working with construction materials.

i was the member of brockwhite ltd company for one year, and i recommend this type of work to anyone. It is really interesting to work outside somewhere in the middle of nowhere in alberta nature.
Amazing experience and great money to earn.

Lower level management is excellent, however extremely lacking in communication and folllow-through from upper management. The hours are flexible, and there is always something to do. But not somewhere you could advance reasonably quickly.

Management tries. Customers make the job. Very little stress. Safety is lacking but getting better. Coworkers are great. Victoria branch is small and cozy

outside sales required making your own appointments with prospective new customers. 
follow up on leads provided on their OMR project lists.
