the most enjoyable part of delivering newspapers for burnaby now was all of the talented and amazing people you would meet while delivering news papers and getting to know your community better . Also all of the fresh air and exercise you get from delivering newspapers was plus as well .

the hardest part of the job would be the weather , but you still had to get the job done and properly , it was espically hard delivering newspapers in the winter while it was snowing , mainly due to the danger of slipping and falling on ice in the winter

As a Newspaper Carrier from day to day work, it lakes lots of exercise and strength to pull a wagon up and down hills and walking many blocks. No matter the weather, they have to be delivered even on a rainy or snowy day.

As a student who worked as a Newspaper Carrier, I enjoyed being able to be paid with a reasonable amount of money per month, but soon enough I had realized that the job itself, was inflicting pain to my back. The job is for those who enjoy being athletic and are willing to carry heavy loads of newspapers per day.

3 times a week after school, I would go home and wait for all the papers to arrive and when they did I put them in my basket and I started delivering them.The only part disliked about the job was having to deliver the paper when it was raining or snowing outside.The fun part of the job was that I could sometimes deliver the paper with my friends.With this job, I learned to manage my time better.

it had long hours, it was astoundingly boring, sometimes they dropped off the papers at the wrong house, I had to go get them, the pay was awful, if you did the math you realized you were getting payed far less than minimum wage. the only reason i stuck with it was so i could buy a Nintendo switch. the one good part is that the management is really nice and understanding.

Not a very hard job, good exercise as well. I learned about money and actually having a job and committing to it. Hardest part was carrying the papers in a backpack throughout the route. Most enjoyable part was the getting outside and getting paid. My supervisor was very nice and it was a good experience.

i do quite a bit of work for very little pay, and the person who drops off and sorts them for me to do my job always screws it up causing my job to be even more difficult,but the only reason i keep doing this is so i get paid cause i'm "just a kid" so i cant get a "real" job yet.ike for only 20 dollars, this job sucks.

Burnaby Now pays way too little for the amount of physical labor that you do. You'd be paying downwards of about $70 a month for 16 hours of work and you don't get any benefits. It's almost impossible to do this job in the winter without a vehicle. Most of the time children are the ones delivering the papers.

This job is very challenging and you can only do it if you have time. The routes take a long time to complete and sometimes the weather is very harsh making it harder for you to deliver.

I feel underpaid and the weather is often rainy and cold outside. It takes atleast 1 hour to do 1 route and I am paid only 68 dollars a month. The flyers do not pay that much extra ($7.00-$45.00) and they are the majority of the work load.

If you want to work here, please do! Very helpful people in the office, and very careful and helpful in my deliveries. When problems are noticed, they will handle it to the best of their abilities.
