My most defining moment was being able to leave this company. Commuting during rush hour and contending with having to stay late or work the weekends if it was busy (spoiler: it's always busy) . Now I am at a new agency and know what you are thinking, how much better is it. Well to begin with my commute is now during non peak times so I'm saving an hour a day, I also am able to work a condensed week which allows me to work 4 days on and 4 days off.

In my days off now I'm able to workout, I'm steadily losing weight, I can go travelling and spend more time with my family.
For anyone struggling with working at Bang Albino I would urge you to see if it's possible to quit so you can look towards self improvement. It will allow you to feel better about yourself while also letting you keep earning a wage as the bills don't pay themselves.

Here are the red flags that they will lie to you about:
"We work hard, play hard". Immediately tells me your culture is toxic. Might as well be saying "yeah you gotta work 60+ hours per week but it's all worth it because once a month you get to see the senior account manager get embarrassingly drunk by 5:30.

"Must be able to work with strong personalities." That generally means there's going to be a lot of screaming and unprofessional behavior. And it's likely that you're going to bear the brunt of their childish tantrums.

"Thick skin" means the boss yells at you, or you'll be criticized by coworkers. It also alludes to harassment, dangerous pranks, or general meanness among coworkers. It never, ever means anything good.

I've been in my new job for 2-ish weeks now. I feel like something wasn't right at the first day already. But I chalked up because I though it would be a new learning experience. Literally the only reason I leave my last job.

But now I just keep thinking about leaving myself so I don't embarrassed myself visiting a lawyer or seeing my annoying bossy co-worker. In my interview I talked a lot about how I will be a great asset, not easily give up or hard-working fast-learner person.

But now i dread every minute at work. I keep looking at the clock (and I never did that because I always learned to 'tolerate' my work. Seeing it as 'another quest for my character.') and get lost in the though. I can't focus and keep making same mistake and while no-one were mad at me, I can tell that they're frustrated. I think I did more harm there than good. And I'm not exactly feel 'fit in' with the environment. Everyone is either too serious or bossy. And my managers (it's very small team so I practically got nothing to reach out to.) keep pushing me and expect me to be good and fast at everything. It stressed me out everyday.

Can I just walk away? I'd love to honor my employer and atleast stay for 30 days but as of right now I just can't take it anymore. I'm considering just visit HR, pack up and leave straight away. I don't even care about paycheck I just wanna get outta there. I even considered visiting therapist after this before.

When I started at Bang Albino I was a bit scared due to my past work history and not being treated well, but I quickly learned that this was a great environment to learn and grow. The onboarding process was easy, and so many people are here to lift you up and help when needed. There is also a huge emphasis on learning new skills, whether it's an online course, conference, or just taking extra time on a project that allows it, Bang is the environment to do so. The different departments have outings (dinners, activities, etc....), which is a nice way to get to know people on your team, especially working from home. Everyone at Bang is super inclusive, no matter where you come from or how you identify. Employees work from anywhere as there are no mandatory in-office days, but if we feel like going into the office, it is a cool space to work from!

To put it plainly, this is a bad company. You will be overworked. The salary is under the industry average. There are no benefits, so you have to pay out of your pocket and the managers get upset if you take time off during the work week for those appointments. I left and made double my income right off the bat. The management is clueless about how to function or how to behave. If you need time off, you are scrutinized. A manager goes through any and all social media posts you make, so you need to watch yourself. The expectation is everyone works until they are burned out and they either fall apart or just keep going on somehow. The company takes advantage of young people and foreign workers who don't know their right's as employees and that's all there is to it, it's just exploitation. 

I've been working at my current job longer than the time I spent here and was reflecting back. This was not a good company to work for, but I learned a lot from this tragic experience and can look back and appreciate what I have now. 

No more working on weekends, no calls while on vacation, the stress from constant in-fighting. The toxic hustle/bully culture doesnt exist where I am now. 

I was very underpaid and did not know it. Leaving I received an immediate 30% increase to my income, and have been awarded raises ever since to double my last salary. I know my old coworkers here still struggle to get by.

I hope this review helps anyone seeking a job, I know times are tough, and I can't tell you not to take a job when you need the money, but keeping on looking while you do.

The graphic designers are cool. They hold the company together. My review excludes them.

High employee turnover. Sees employee as cheap and replaceable labor. Poor pay. The company name is embarrassing and degrading. Lack of opportunity and advancement. Poor culture and low employee satisfaction.

Quality staff leaves after a year. Or less.

Incompetent and inexperienced management which is very hard to work with. They are constantly moving things around to cover up for their own incompetence.

Stay quiet and do your job/ do not ask questions attitude is the way to survive.

Disorganized. Lack of leadership.

I’ve had an amazing experience at Bang Albino! The health benefits are fantastic, and being able to work remotely has been a total game-changer. We even get travel opportunities, which keep things exciting. The team is super creative and supportive—there’s a real sense of camaraderie, and the work environment feels safe for everyone. With competitive salaries and room to grow and experiment, I couldn’t ask for a better place to build my career!

The role provides exposure to interesting client portfolios, but the work environment is consistently high-pressure with little regard for work–life balance. 

Teams are overextended, making it difficult to ask for support without impacting others’ workloads. Leadership lacks alignment, resulting in inconsistent processes and little standardization across the organization. 

Raising concerns can be met with resistance, and company policies largely prioritize business needs over employee well-being.

The holidays are meant to be a time for rest, not more work. Everytime we as employees asked for time off, they said no. There's a hiring shortage here as no one wants to work here. Other employees that got sick did not receive the proper amount of time off.

It's not a 40 hour work week. They expect more and will want you to grind your way to 50 or 60 hours. They said that if you want work life balance in your 20s, you will have a hard time finding work for the next 20 years.
