When I started working here, I loved it. everyone was hard working and it motivated me to also work hard. Unfortunately, the location changed management and new manager, who manages two locations, did not understand that you can not apply the same management to this location in comparison to the other location. Assistant managers were a joke. Slowly, the hard working team I once started with fell apart. many of them left due to the incompetence of the management.

It’s an extremely fast-paced workplace but it provides excellent learning for different kitchen skills. I personally learned a lot from there, which I then taught onto others as the joined. 

Nowadays, however, there is more to learn than what I was taught cuz it’s always a growing brand and they include new food items quite often, which may be hard to keep track of when you first start off. 

If your are international students, this place is perfect for you.
They will training you all of things you needs to be a hard-working employee. You will be confident on your next job.
Management is nicely and always try to give you fairly hour with flexibility based on your availability.
Free meal after every shift.
You can have chance to get promotion for your career but the salary is quite low compared with other franchises/fast-paced restaurants.

Basil Box is a great place to work, especially when balancing work with school. The management and supervisors are super supportive and caring and understand the role of each employee. Dealing with customers is hard, especially in the food industry, but the culture at Basil Box helps to ease that stress.

Currently working here, really enjoy it. Everyone is friendly and the customers served are much better than where I worked at previously. Very clean kitchen and well maintained as well. Generous meal benefits and discounts.

It was a fun and relax place to work. However, the managers keep changing procedures. and expecting employees to follow without proper training. Sometimes I feel the managers work without knowledge, They just do what they feel right even though it totally opposite with the training. Also, the management is really unfair. 

Its a fast-paced restaurant where you are always expected to be doing something. High quality ingredients and cool and fun co-workers and management. For an entry level restaurant job pretty happy with this place.

As a mother, Basil Box company is very accommodating and flexible on employees available hours and request day offs. Basil Box give health benefits after one year of being employed as full time which on my part is not acceptable. Basil Box don't give break time to staff for 5 hours shift.

The best managers and co-workers out there for me. They raised my standard so high. I love working here a lot even though it takes a long times to travel here. They care a lot, about the customer, the food, workers. BASIL BOX IS THE BEST I SWEAR.
