I work as a receptionist in the back, very stressful. Everyone who work at the front didn’t like the anyone who worked in the back. Veterinarian’s and vet techs who be aggressive, yell at you and would most time not answer the phones if you needed to ask a question for the client. If you would make a honest mistake you would hear about it aggressively not a learning experience (eg. Booking clients to close maybe 5-10 minutes of over lapping)

Crazy, fast-paced clinic that is very under staffed and overbooked. If you work in the front be prepared to put out fires all day and be yelled at by clients. Most clients are wonderful, staff is amazing and the only thing keeping that place together. No parties for holidays except on your break, staff has to host own events. Fit for you if want to work with a great staff and animals in a high stress envirobment.

This workplace has a supportive and flexible team! With management that truly cares about you and your growth. The workplace culture is great. There is obvious hard moments in this job but with the right team they work through them together. 

Great clinic to work with. Fellow employees are mostly female, as that is fairly standard demographic for the veterinary profession, especially small animal. We see dogs and cats exclusively. Hospital managers work to ensure you are able to seize opportunities to grow as you demonstrate your potential, and staff efforts are appreciated. You get out of it what you put into it.

Each day was different and was very fast paced as I was working directly with the dogs and cats in the boarding area. A typical day would be caring for each animal throughout the day and keep detailed reporting logs for each pet. I was also required to do laundry, garbage's and vacuum at the end of each shift.

Management is the worst. There is no appreciation in any work you do. Do not ask any questions to regarding shifts or break times or anything for that matter, or you'll get fired.
Very controlling company. 
Doctors, techs and assistants very good to work with, and will explain anything to you.

While working at Beattie Animal Hospital I learned a lot, my co-workers were friendly and professional they treated each other with respect and treated the costumers with respect and kindness.
The most enjoyable part of working at Beattie's was working with the boarding animals.

Contstant fighting between staff and customers. Dishonest billing, and overscheduling cause a lot of anger in customers that is directed at front desk staff with no accountability by managment. Front desk staff would brag about how many people had quit or been fired. 

Good team atmosphere. Fast paced. Clean environment to work in.
Good wages for the Veterinary field. Good benefit plan offered.

Expectations are high with no care to personal well being, and work/life balance. Toxic work environment, unrealistic schedule expectations and abuse from owners
