A typical day at work for a loyalty Agent involves receiving calls from Customers nationwide who either need new telecom services, want to make changes to their services, have issues with their services, or just need advice. I learnt to keep my calm under pressure, i improved on my time management skills, and i greatly improved on my interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Management is very supportive and as long as you are honest and straightforward always, the sky is your limit.

The hardest part of the job was trying to convince customers who had already cancelled their services with Bell canada to reverse their decision.

The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to resolve customers issues, save them money, and give them better services than they had at the start of the call. The immediate positive feedback from the customer right there on the call is very gratifying.

There are good people at Bell for sure. However, for the most part, the work environment is very toxic - there's just an air of fakeness. People are very eager to point fingers and many people with minimal skills are great politically and presenting a false image that they are more capable than they are. Management is always gossiping and trying to stir and promote drama. Salaries are not competitive with other companies. Boss hired a bunch of people from his church and gives them preferred treatment. No work/life balance at all - you are expected to work long hours everyday and during weekends. No appreciation or pay for working over time.

This is the worst company I have ever worked for.  Management is awful and deceitful.  The job is stressful and not worth any amount of money.   Managers will lie and there is no communication, they will fire you without notice.  Run far away from this shady company.  Wouldn't work there again in a million years.  If you have mental health issues or anxiety, this is one of the worst companies to work for.

People here are always striving for the best and only the best. They don't care about the turn over rate and they constantly criticize you. They criticize you if you take a day off for mental health or family issues, they also demand an explanation for every single thing you do. Its draining. No wonder they have such a huge turnover because its a boys club.

Good compensation. Interesting work (at times). Great people.

Bell is directionless and lacks innovation. Top execs want to innovate but are not willing to take risks or break down roadblocks. Bell puts a lot of focus on sales and less on delivering services and maintaining quality products. Marketing is lost in the woods with no new products or ideas on the horizon.

Will spend a year and a half shoving "family" and comraderie down your throat only to let you go after you "win" the random layoff lottery. No job security. Mostly Indians working here which is ironic.

Pays well but constantly scrutinized for too much time spent with clients.  Quality reviews are completed but little training/coaching to make improvements & then when you do the same thing again, there's more criticism.

Worked for 16 years at Bell Canada. It is Canada's largest telecom company but small in comparison to American companies. You can work a long time at Bell and advance your career and make good money. Upper management is in their ivory towers. 

All the Indian managers only care about their commissions and are not willing to teach you anything which eventually costs your job. Other managers are fine and will teach you how you can do better.
