Belvedere Golf & Country Club

The workplace culture started fairly decent but took a rapid turn when the superintendent started micromanaging to an extent I have never seen before, as well as, talking behind other employees' backs it was a joke.  The first year I worked there was all good no issues, the next year started decently,  I saw some advancement into new machinery and stuff but by the end, I couldn't wait for it to be over.  The superintendent seems to have a problem with power-tripping and has no sense of how to run a crew properly.  No one keeps track of the weekends you work so it's always fighting to have your weekend off.  Overall the job is alright but management is terrible.  For minimum wage, it's not the worst but there are certainly better golf courses around the city to look at.  

On an average day I would start out by cleaning the dirty golf carts and fill them up with gas, park them at the clubhouse so they were ready to go for the members.  Later I would go out on a range pick, clean the golfballs, and when that was finished I was to clean members clubs to finish my shift.  I learned how to be more sociable and respectful to the members and coworkers at all times.  Everyone up to management were nice people, made the day easier. 

The most enjoyable part of the day was driving around the golf carts back and forth, and being outside on a nice day.  It was a fairly easy job that got repetitive at times but enjoyable overall.

There is a great culture to be apart of. The team strives to encourage and teach you as an individual, and builds a small team into a community. The managers are clear with instructions and expectations, they are understanding and willing to be a helpful source when you need it. Very inviting management.
Like all kitchens, stress can get a little high. The kitchens hygiene and organization are important to staff members.

Great place to work . Coworkers are also so friendly and helpful.

It’s not stressful any time . Sometimes if weather is not good than it can be difficult when you’re alone in kitchen

Working environment is so much easier than other place and working conditions are also cool

The CEO's decision-making skills were questionable at best. It often seemed like important choices were made without any thorough analysis or consideration of the potential consequences. This lack of foresight resulted in numerous setbacks for the company and created unnecessary stress for the employees who had to deal with the aftermath.

a typical day at work is setting everything up for the customers such as making sure the pop & alcohol fridges are stocked always, food is always fresh and stocked, making sure the workplace is always clean and organized. Also dealing with constant customers and making sure they are satisfied.

Free meals, break time. People are nice, supportive and friendly.

Focus on detail, everything should be consistent.

Comfortable, easy to make friends.

Great place to work and golf. Belvedere is very involved with the staff and the members, Belvedere also treats everyone like family. Love Belvedere and think its a great place to work as they are very supportive.

Beautiful views everyday and friendly and amazing staff. Recommended to anyone looking for a nice job in a beautiful setting. Lots of nice people to interact with and talk to. Beautiful sunsets everyday
